If he patterns his game to Boban, he might get a chance becoming a rotation or 3rd big in todays game.... He need some Boban strenght downlow though, he cannot bully NBA players the same as Dleague guys....

i like the boban comparison. boban also did not break through his first couple of teams. spurs let him go and it is not until he was with dallas when he was really impacting games.

As long as he doesn't meet John Wick in a library.....

Right now if we could get 6-7 useful mins from him just to keep allen and Mobley’s mins down a little it would be helpful

Boban was racking up Euroleague MVP's before coming to the NBA and would've been a true star in an earlier era, when the game wasn't yet so perimeter centric. You can't compare these guys.

Tacko is a borderline pro.
 
Tacko continues to impress in the g league, 3 games, 22pts, 13 rbs, 79%!! fg%, and somehow 90% ft (GLeague has this funky rule where if you make the first ft you get credit for making 2).

If this could just translate to the nba game even a little bit, he could maybe serve a role in a couple 4-5 minute stretches off the bench once and awhile.

You would think just having someone out there for three to 4 minutes a half who is 7’5 would throw opponents off for almost the same amount of time. Just hold court and cut allen and Mobley’s minutes by 3 or so

NBA teams know how to make a 7'5" statue a liability on both ends.

The problem with Tako is if he's on the floor, you feel obligated to get him the ball in the post (because he can't handle a lob or quick pass), and that begs the question: Is Tako Fall your best option on offense at any point during a tight game?

And on defense, he just gets put into space and that's that.
