Has anyone else gotten the middle of the screen Vdopia pop up ad? It's making this site unusable. It happens on every page change or refresh and usually blocks the top few posts on every page.

Is this intended? A new form of revenue generation?

Im using a iPad, so that may have an impact.

If intended, is there any way around it? Its really freaking annoying.

Haven't seen it, but I don't own an iPad. Highly doubt it's intended to work like that. I'm sure Ben will get it fixed.

Looking into it. Testing out a few new advertising networks to replace one that went belly up. I'll have it fixed hopefully soon.

Its a new adnetwork that has some glitches. Are you using a desktop or tablet?

sgm405 started a thread about these ads. Wuck asked us to post our responses in here. From the thread, as of an hour ago:

Yup. Been annihilating my iPad since yesterday. I have to close the tab and come back to RCF later.

Some rearrange the whole page and won't scroll, and then others fill the entire screen with no close button. Actually got one of those for Call of Duty when I loaded this thread.

Yea, its back for me as well. Same COD full page ad that STERIO mentioned. Still better than the mid page furniture ad from last weekend.

I feel bad mentioning it since Ben devotes so much to the site, but it does make using the site really hard.

As of 5:01 am I am still getting redirected to full page ads to the point I have to close the page and come back. Also using Safari.
