I got a job!

I usually don't lurk around in the "off-topic" threads, but I just felt like sharing some great news.

I just got my first ever full-time job! Senior Research Chemist at a major corporation in the area. My wife and I get to stay in the area - which is great. This might not seem like the biggest thing in the world, but it's completely life changing.

It seems like I've been in school since Jesus was here for God's sake. I'm finishing up my thesis and that Ph.D. in chemistry is finally going to be mine in the next month or so.

So, I've been absent from the boards recently as I got a ton to do. However, this is a great place to come and look around when I need a break. While I don't have much time to post much, keep the articles, takes and ideas coming. Tonight's game will be the first one I watch from start to finish since prior to the west Coast Trip. I'll be looking to you guys to fill me in.

My dad got his degree in chemistry, but at the same time he was delaying having to go to Veitnam. When he got out he had to go to basic training for several year. By the time he was done with the Air Force it was to late since he graduated. :thumbdown
