I’m much more bullish on Daniel Johnson going forward than Bauers.

Someone is going to have to tell sportscoach, because he assured me otherwise.

Seriously though, you may be correct.

Bauers should have another year to compete and figure it out, but DJ is certainly pressing him to produce.

As I said, next year is likely make or break for Bauers with how many at bats he’ll have by the midway point next year.

We haven't seen Johnson in the pros yet, so I will wait to judge him until then, but Bauers does need to show improvement this off season especially since no spots outside of maybe Luplow and Mercado are set next season.
