Is it okay to like Steph Curry now ?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It’s mostly kids and stupid dumdums.

Think about how our parents probably felt when we’d talk about how much better Michael Chang was than Ivan Lendl. Or compared David Douillet to Hitoshi Seito.

Bobby Flay to Paul Prudhomme. @Deezus

Same thing. Different generation.

Prudhomme > Flay and if you say otherwise, I'll send you a super heavy bag of gravel and some Chef Paul's Magic Pepper Sauce. @Damage

Morimoto, Sakai and Kinichi were all better than the imitations. Morimoto kicked Bobby Flay’s ass.

What an absolute masterclass performance for Steph.

Jordan is a difficult level to reach. But there’s nothing wrong with being considered the 2nd greatest player in NBA history behind MJ.

Keep your head up, King!

So now we are admitting that Curry’s best, master class level, which is also at MJs level, isn’t enough to beat a 38 year old Lebron. Talk about a self own.

Don’t listen to a troll like that guy, Steph.

Curry shot 29% from 3 last night and got hunted mercilessly by the Lakers last night. Undrafted Austin Reaves was hunting “top 10 Steph” like Steph was the undrafted second year player.

To answer the thread question, no. No, it’s not ok to like Steph now. It always has been, and always will be, fuck Steph Curry for life.

Thread change to…Is it ok to like the Denver Nuggets now?

I don’t like Curry, he is a showboater when he is winning and sulks when losing. But he is a hell of a player. Pound for pound he is right there with AI as the best cruiserweight ever. But it’s a game for the giants and he just can’t carry a team like a Bron or Giannis. Hell of a player though. Top 20 certainly. Probably in the 10-15 range. Could make an argument for somwhere in the 8-9 range and I’d listen. Not GOAT convo though. That’s Bron, MJ, Kareem. (In that order)

He played his little heart last night… A valiant effort that not only showed courage and took strength, but was a beacon of hope for all those who desire to play basketball.

Steph has been amazing the last 2 years: not his fault he had to run a PnR 40+ times a game to get AD out of the paint and none of his other guys could exploit it. He ran out of gas (big reason Kerr never wanted to use him like that unless he had to)

Cavs should try to get Wiggins out of GS tax bill :chuckle:

Kareem Abdul Jabaar wrote on his Substack today that Steph Curry is one of the greatest conversationalists he’s ever had the pleasure to spend an afternoon with.

Thought that was kind of cool.
Can you confirm such @Bill Walton. ?
