Yes, it would be worth it.

But it's a report. Just like the LeBron trade reports, Allen Iverson, Pierce, etc. Big stars wanting out because their team isn't winning. Sorry, Garnett isn't going anywhere unless it's a lopsided trade.

Is KG like Shaq - where even a lopsided trade works out better for the team landing KG?

Suppose we sign and trade Z, and also give up Drew, AV, Luke, and our '09 #1 pick for KG and the worst contract from the TWolves, is that still a good move to pair KG and LeBron?

It depends: in Shaq's situation, he demanded a trade. He had a player option this year that he probably would have just walked away to a different team with. Shaq's trade was a desperation move to get as much as possible. If KG demands a trade, the whole situation will be assessed. It's possible that we could trade some of our decent, potential players and Z, but highly unlikely. We shouldn't really trade away all our building blocks.

I read a rumor that rumor that said cleveland was on KG's list of teams. It said players that we sign this offseason could be part of a deal to get him. Its not gonna happen. No way they trade us KG without having to give up lebron. If we were able to get LBJ and KG together they could be one of the greatest duos of all time. Again, its not gonna happen though,

It would never happen. Put yourself in the T-Wolves shoes, would you trade KG to Cleveland for anything on the Cavs roster other than LeBron? McHale isn't a great GM but even he wouldn't do that.

If KG has an option like Shaq, the Wolves have no feet to stand on, much like LA and the Shaq, so they would end up getting a low level deal.

But at the same time, we dont have a lot to give to match his salary. It would take Z, Newble and Gooden and a draft pick at the minumium just to make a fair effort.

KG and LeBron? I would definatly trade anyone on the roster besides LeBron to get that guy in here.

I donno man, look at the Miami deal they got Shaq and kept wade....i thought they were idiots for it but look, if we package drew ppl picks and maybe a lil green to get then over the mle and they can get someone else then they maybe might possibly consider thinking about thinking about it...if the heat cna land shaq and keep wade then we may be able to pull it off..
