I'm thinking here and seeing how many players the Cavaliers are interested in, including Sarunas and possibly a few other free agent PGs that they have reportedly shown interest in, could the Cavs use the "Allen Houston Rule" on Eric Snow's contract? Not that Snow has no use on the team, but under the rule you can cut one contract from your salary cap while still paying the player. Going in with Sarunas, Hughes, LeBron and whatever other possible PGs are out there, it could make Snow expendable while clearing up almost $5.5 million off the cap. If by any chance the Haslem rumors have any validity, this would seem to be a method of clearing some cap room. Any thoughts?
