Lets say @Man Called X didn't murder or kill anyone. He put the people out of their misery.

These are all theoretical things that have not been proven in a court of law
Why? If Love retires we’re still on the hook for a great percentage of his contract/salaryYou are a hardcore fan period, even those that live in Cleveland and I love your passion.
My advice, with the current lottery odds and already young talent on the team, who cares about draft position, its all an almost even lottery. Root for the team to win, root for them to make the playoffs. We are fans, winning is fun. If this team gets the 8th seed its not a roller coaster. That means our 5 young back court did well and they will get better, even Sexton who is already very good. The front court already has 2 young core pieces in Nance and Drummond. Yes Drummond is a core piece if we make the playoffs. Thon Maker is probably useless, but he is young and could prove me wrong.
Then root for Love to retire, lol.

I hope Okoro isn't one of the fragile ones. We have too many of those already.
Hope he's back soon.
That’s what I meant! Either way his salary is still on the books! And Love isn’t retiring ( let alone medically). We just need to pray that a contender wants to trade him in Feb! But even then we’ll have to take back some kind of bad contract to make it work.Actually, we aren't. If he simply retires, he is owed nothing. However, the salary he isn't actually getting paid would still count against the cap.
If it is a retirement due to a career ending injury or illness, then it can end up the opposite. Without getting too deep in the weeds, a player who medially retires can be waived and still receive his salary. However, that salary will not count against the cap after 12 months.
