So excited for him but just a word of caution looking ahead: the Greek Freak is a different kind of dragon, the likes of which Okoro has never played against.
I don’t expect Okoro to shut him down or light it up on offense, I just hope that he is up for the challenge, for every minute that he is in the floor. Meaning when things go wrong, he has a short memory, and when things go right, he holds on to that belief.
Okoro is still a kid, and he’s a special young man, and this is the game where he will be up against something all together different.
As fans, please have patience and enjoy the little victories as he gets the hang of it. I am excited for what he has done, and excited to see if he can remain this fired up against Milwaukee.
Blasphemy. Okoro can guard 1-8.Why would Okoro guard the PF? Okoro can guard the 1-3, not the 4 or 5.

Actually, Okoro can guard a four but it was for a limited time at Auburn...Bickerstaff mentioned it,a few times after drafting him.
He's at a severe size disadvantage here.
My guess is we see Okoro on Middleton more and Larry on Giannis.
This is a bad matchup for the Cavs. I am really just looking for them to keep the Bucks as far under their scoring average as possible
Said another way, an offense isn’t going to murder us all game with the sole game plan of a PnR switch to get the ball to their 4 guarded by Okoro. He cant guard a NBA 4, not if its a true 4, but he can guard for a play or two if he must.
We aren’t “there yet” and you didn’t say that we are, but yeah, we are good defensive team and Drummond/Nance are looking really good so far on that end, like really good, Sexton getting better, and perhaps Okoro being good already (any stats @Nathan S ?).The Bucks are a really weird team right now.
They either blow someone out or get blown out. So far they've had exactly 1 game that the score was within single digits.
I honestly don't hate our matchup with them if guys are healthy.
Okoro doesn't guard you, you guard yourself in his presence. Or else.Blasphemy. Okoro can guard 1-8.

A lot of credit goes to the frontcourt, I think...Cavs are blocking shots and making opponents miss in the paint, and that has a ripple effect where now guards aren't so keen to drive on Sexton when they see all the size and athleticism behind him. Too soon to say how Okoro's doing relative to (high) expectations defensively, but he's certainly another positive that we didn't have last year.
