All depends how he shoots in workouts. If he struggles shooting the ball, you cant take him at #5. No matter how good he is on defense, a wing that cant shoot is a no go that high.
That’s why I think you gotta take Vassell.

I would be very leery of judging a guy's shooting off one workout. Hasn't always worked out well for us....

Remember that Kawhi Leonard shot 25% from deep in college.

Okoro's shooting is a weakness, but at his age it's certainly not a deal breaker.

I could see it if his measurements were good but he’s like 6’4 with an average wingspan. A long with his measurements to me Vassell is the better defensive player between the two and he also has a jump shot, with pretty good contested percentages.

I have Vassell over Okoro on my board, so not arguing with that. Just saying it's overly simplistic to say you can't draft a wing in the top-5 if he shot poorly from 3 in college. Hell, Edwards also shot 29% from deep and Ball shot 25% (albeit on higher volume) and they're certainly going top-5.

He already measured 6'-5" barefoot as a senior in HS with a 6'-8.5" wingspan. I'll be very interested to see the pre draft measurements for him and Vassell though.

The Warriors aren’t taking Okoro. I could see them taking Toppin, as he’s a ready made player (offensively speaking) and if they think he can play the 5. They’re either gonna want an immediate contributor or they will trade the pick.

I think Haliburton would also make a lot of sense to them. He can play now I think. I could see a trade down for GS where they take the guys that could contribute soonest in Vassell, Haliburton, and Wiseman. Peole might think Wiseman isn't ready for that, but he has to be better than Chriss.

How about this for a blockbuster:

GSW acquire: Kevin Love & #5 pick
CLE acquires: Andrew Wiggins & #2 pick

One awful contract for another, but Love would help them more in the short-term than Wiggins will. Cavs could then get Wiseman at #2 and then look at dealing Drummond

Love makes the team better when he"s on the floor. The opposite would be true with Wiggins. Even worse, he'd take shot opportunities from our other perimeter players - all of whom have greater potential than he does.

I'm not sure I'd do that deal even if we didn't have to include our own pick.

Don't want anything to do with that guy.
