I dunno how many times it’s been said already here but the problem is at the base of his finger, so he can’t just tape it up and go. It can get knocked out of position if he plays and also affect things like rebounding.

Allen needs to toughen up. For instance, I'm currently finishing up a bout of covid and I haven't missed any time on the forum. I knew this place needs me in the playoff push, so I just wrapped my head in cling wrap like Riddler in "The Batman" and battled through it.

Ronnie Lott he's not, but that's ok. Football players, especially the old school variety, like Lott, are just a different breed. Cavs doctors have to clear him too and we don't know if that's happened.
