He has been a huge part of our success so far. It allows us to get mismatches and play better switching defense. He has low key been our most important player these last couple of games. Having him out there consistently hitting shots allows us to play Kevin and not have him doubled while keeping LeBron at the 3 (the position he wants to play most). If our role players are going to show up moving forward, I really like our chances to at least get to the finals.

His offense has been way better than expected. He is actually hitting threes, drawing fouls, and finishing. It's weird because he is so up and down. He started out the year like he was our 2nd best player for a long time. Then he had a horrible streak where he was bricking every three, taking horrible shots, and getting beat on defense. Now in the playoffs, he has been solid for us again.
Green came to the league as a jack of all trades and a master of none. When I watched him with OKC and Boston, he looked like a rotation guy who doesn't quite shoot or rebound the way you want a forward complimentary guy to, but his ball handling and mobility at that size can create different looks. Jeff Green in transition offense and defense has always been a plus.
The worst thing about Green his whole career, like RJ, was high expectations and high salary.
Green has actually become a more polished offensive weapon now that he is 31. He bottomed out in Orlando but quietly played well for the Clippers last year. Now that the noose of expectations and salary are gone, he's just a solid guy who comes off the bench bringing over 45 games of playoff basketball to the table. Experience is this teams' weakness, but not Green.
