The things he's talking about - the team is actually displaying during games and interactions. Compared to us the Pistons looked dead every time the game was stopped.

Seems like a really good leader of young guys.

It will definitely be interesting to see how we do tonight after such a long game and traveling. I think it's games like tonight that will tell us a lot about the coaching going on, but overall it does seem promising so far. I would like to see a much better offensive scheme, but with such a short preseason...perhaps it takes time.

Maybe like halfway through the year when perhaps we’re not shit defensively, we’re still playing together and our record is right around .500?
Not after 2 games though. Let’s face it. I like the way we played, but we beat the two worst teams in the NBA.
Chicago is worse than Hornets imo, but splitting hairs

They dismantled Philly with defense. Super impressive. The disorganization from the first 2 games was not there. Just limiting mistakes was huge.

Hard not to be optimistic. This team is getting rewarded immediately for playing d and is plenty deep to get his rest

JB deserves big Kudos for missing guys and the next guy plays almost as well and knows their role.

Struck by everyone saying they know their role. Cedi said so last night and said he wants what's best for the team and he had been great. Compare that to George Hill saying in a playoff game he doesn't know his role.

Bickerstaff followed the flow of the game pretty well and got some good combos in there, but he can't run these guys too long in the 4th. He tends to do that. I think he had Love out there for the 4th and 2 over times. He needs to buy his guys a breather once in awhile.

He’a been great so far, not his fault if we brick 100 opens 3s or Cedi gets lost on defense every second play.

He's got to rest the starters more minutes.

Winning is wonderful but one look at the schedule should
make it clear that the net result of having starters playing extended
minutes is negative and could lead to injuries, even to
the youngsters.

yeah surprised we didn’t see much of Dean Wade considering we have our starting SF and PF out

That was total insanity. Bickerstaff is going to kill any chance we have to stay healthy.
Bickerstaff is going to challenge the team to play hard. He wants to see who will break down and so far what we are seeing is that garland , sexton and Andre are fine with big minutes. I think you cannot play Nance big minutes or he breaks down, especially when he is trying to guard Randle. I think the return of Okoro and the rehabilitation of KPJ will go a long way, but it highlights how thin we really are at PF. With Love out extended those minutes are Nance and Wade. I think we might see Andre play some PF with McGee or Bolden on the floor.

Bickerstaff has no idea what he has in Wade imo. And 3 minutes isn’t going to tell you.

I’d like to see some plays where Sexton and Garland get some action that forcing down low. Personally Garland and Wade should do some pick and rolls or pick and pops and get Wade some PT.

Team does miss Okoro on the wing for defense and some spacing and shooting from Love.

If Nance can be consistent on 3pt line, it would really help.

I'd like to see Bickerstaff to tell the centers that they aren't guards and to stop dribbling the ball in the half court.
