Let's not jump to conclusions please.
I can't think of a single legitimate reason for a football player to shove a woman's head into a window.

Keep your hands off the women when you are drunk and angry, asshole.
Now I only skimmed the article, but...nowhere did I see any sort of confirmation that this occurred other than that she claimed it happened. Kind of like how JT Barrett's girlfriend claimed he roughed her up and everybody has JT's back about it and said the bitch was just crazy.
Now maybe I missed something, but I also didn't see where it said they were drink. Been drinking and drunk are not equal, and if he/they were drunk, I'd think they would be picked up. Am I wrong? But I think in cases like this it's super irresponsible to jump to conclusions, especially letting your own prejudices get in the way of rational judgment on the situation.
Per the article:
In the report, Crowley told police Manziel pushed her head into a window. She wanted her cell phone because she was concerned about her safety and said she just wanted to return to Texas.
The report stated police did see an abrasion on Crowley's arm but later determined that the abrasion was from Manziel's attempt to keep her from getting out of the vehicle while it was on the road.
What I take away from that is that she claims he pushed her head into a window, but the only sign of damage on her body was an abrasion on her arm that they deemed happened when he tried to keep her from jumping out of a moving car.
As I said before, this girl seems like nothing but trouble and not the kind of person he should be keeping around if he's serious about getting better personally.
You would think someone that truly cared about him could also give up that lifestyle, especially in the short term, with his best interests in mind.
