Johnny Manziel: Swan Won't Return His Calls

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That post by Torn is exactly why I stopped engaging this debate about Johnny a long time ago. It amazes me that people want to put the blame on anyone other than Manziel here. Why is it so hard to see that all the drama, all the confusion, all the questions are a DIRECT result of Manziel's actions. There is no one to blame but Manziel. Everyone else's mistakes were a result of having been put in a corner by Manziel himself.

NFL teams do research on these kids before the draft. They put them through psychological tests and personality profiles. They can project their behavior. The red flags were so glaring an ESPN writer, Wright Thompson, was able to detail them in this article before the draft

If ESPN can dig it up, don't you think NFL teams can to and even do more? I do. But the Browns were star struck. They saw the cult following, the marketability this kid could bring and fooled themselves into taking him. If you want to blame the Browns for anything with Manziel, it was the fact they allowed themselves to be suckered into drafting him.

As far as the most recent events to end the season. We know that Manziel was sent home after the qb meeting. and then went to vegas on Saturday.

Players in the concussion protocol typically are not allowed to be in team meetings. He would have had to clear certain steps in the protocol to be involved in any team meeting. So where did you see he was specifically in a QB meeting on Saturday? And how do you know he was 'sent home'? What do you mean by that? He was excused like all the other QBs from the meeting or he was asked to leave the meeting before anyone else?

For those who can't see the Johnny Manziel news via our website, here is what we posted:

Johnny Manziel update:

We all know Vegas stories can get extremely crazy involving celebrities. This is going to sound wild, and maybe hard to believe, but this is what we’re hearing regarding Johnny Manziel.

Our sources tell us Manziel was at a popular night club on the strip Saturday night. The QB entered wearing a blonde wig, a fake mustache, glasses, and a hoodie.

Manziel introduced himself as “Billy.” He was there into the 3am hour and when it came time to pay the bill, he asked to have it comped because he didn’t bring cash and also didn’t want to put it on his card.

However, the sources tell us he ended up paying with his card and signing the check.

By 3am he appeared to be enjoying the party scene that Vegas is known to offer.

The club had Manziel and his crew placed at a VIP table close to the DJ booth. The table is located in one of the darkest areas of the club.

Manziel dined at the club’s restaurant before going to the nightclub. He was seated at the most private area in the restaurant, which is still out in the open. And yes, he ate with his wig and glasses on.

Wearing a wig and a mustache.

Now let me tell you, if that doesn't sound like a dude you want leading the team, you're nuts!

He can die in a fire accidentally ignited by @Tornicade during the candle light vigil he's organizing to memorialize his terrible fucking career.

I've never justifiably hated a player more in my entire life.

The best. Going to miss him.

We always say "it can't get any worse" yet it always does. This has to be the low though, right? I mean, seriously... what can be worse?

And then he went back to his penthouse and banged LeBron's mom.

I have no strong feelings about Johnny either way, but this story is horseshit.

The guy has been caught on video more times than I can count making a fucking idiot of himself. Picture of him doing blow, riding a swan, partying his ass off. He was so drunk he slept through the flight to Baltimore last season and had team officials sending security to find him. On top of it all he did a (failed) rehab stint.

And you actually still think this story is far fetched?
