I suspect I'd enjoy having a conversation with Weeden much more. Manziel seems like someone I'd absolutely hate.

Today's news about Johnny isn't at all shocking. It was clear as the day is long that they were done with him after Jimmy's presser.

What I'm interested to see is if we just pull the rip cord or try to hold out and trade him. Either way I don't think he steps foot in a Browns facility again.
 
You guys realize that when it is brought up at the presser, Hue will at least have to say "We'll evaluate Johnny just like every other player" or "I think Browns can win with Manziel" just in case Jerry Jones still might give us a 6th runder for him.

Plus, I don't think you throw your players under the bus this soon after getting the job, even if they deserve it.

Hue Jackson is confident he is the man to turn around the woebegone Cleveland Browns.

Whether quarterback Johnny Manziel will assist Jackson remains an open-ended question.

"I need to get in this building and have an opportunity to sit down and watch tape," Jackson said at his introductory press conference in Berea, Ohio, Wednesday night. "I don't know Johnny personally. I know who he is.

"But at the same time, I have to give everybody on our football team a fair opportunity to see who they are, to truly learn who they are, and then make decisions from there."
