So what would a deal with Houston look like? Anthony + Knight + protected 2019 pick for JR? The pick better be good because Knight's owed $15 million next season. Is it worth it?
Yeah that's what I think it would be. I wouldn't mind Knight because he has upside and we might be able to to flip him for another asset at some point depending how quickly he gets back to form.
Knight played against the Lakers didn't he? Also flipping Knight is an interesting idea, the Kings with Randolphs contract, with one of Giles / Skal and a pick would be a good match Kings don't really have a decent back up to Fox.
Yeah he played 4 minutes. If we got him I wouldn't immediately flip him. We can pump up his value and possibly get another protected 1st round pick from him. Just prove that he is healthy and back to form, which I don't know how long that will take. He really hasn't played in 2 years.
I think they'd have to make the move here soon if they'd want to move him this year. Forget when the deadline is but know they'd have to wait about 60 days
Honestly the Cavs don’t need to take back shit at this point. No longer term contracts for a late first rounder with significant protections. So what would a deal with Houston look like? Oh just saw above post.Who can we have from the Rockets for him? PJ Tucker?
Page 1, 2nd reply...spooky.He just cannot be trusted with the ball, lol.
I'm getting the feeling that if JR was going to be traded it would have been done by now. It's not a simple trade because of the salaries involved.. This is not a trade that comes up at the spur of the moment.
Also Miami seems to be the only team serious about the trade. They are bidding low.
