Kevin thinks he's better than he really is. Should stop crying complaining and try to have fun playing with these young guys. Part of that huge contract should be being a leader and stepping up. Be more like Tristan in setting a good example on the court.

I think we saw last night why he has been held out of most back to backs. Forget the shooting, he looked stiff and clumsy in his movement, no sharpness and bounce at all. Old even.
It was only his third back to back of the year, but the other two were possibly his best performances of the season

It doesn't sound like there are too many interested partners for KLove on the trade market. I can live with him on the roster for the rest of the season. As long as he doesn't sulk and act like a jerk. He seems to be past that, but we'll see for sure after the trade deadline.

Yeah, with the problems the Cavs are having making 3-point shots lately it's nice to have somebody who can knock one down. He was 6-for-9 from deep last night and that was critical in keeping the game close right down to the final minute.

Over his last seven games Love is hitting 46.8% of his 3's. He had one bad game where he went 2-for-10 and that was on the second night of a back-to-back. Take away that game and he's over 50%.

His turnovers per game by month:

Oct 3.3
Nov 2.8
Dec 2.5
Jan 2.3

Nice trend line. He's not forcing as many long, high risk outlet passes as he was earlier and he's not getting stripped as much trying to back down in the low post. His defense still sucks but I like his offensive game right now.

His advanced stats from the Raptors game, who are of course one of the hottest teams in the league right now, were just staggering:

Some people are fueled by blind hatred I guess.

Very much so.

It seems like odd timing for a post like this one below.

Kevin Love a full time 4 now?

whatever a “4” means anymore. But he has to be happy with this move for Drummond

I am just thinking that Love might be more engaged now that he has a for real rim protector out there. He will have to spend more time on the perimeter too to open up the paint, which is what Love prefers.

I don't know that this was a "make love happier" move, but Love should be happier with Drummond. It's going to help the guards a lot and it is going to cover for Love AND we are going to routinely win the rebounding competition.

I think this was a really good move and improves the team a lot. Defense won't be elite, but there will be stretches of much better defense and the size issues that plague us will be at least slightly mitigated.

Driummond still has potential IMO. He has grown even the past 2 years, and people have been hating on Blake, but he and Drummond were a terror and I think he and Love could be a better match.

Yes..agree with that take.when the guards get beat, players won't be able to cruise in the lane without resistance.

He's a worse defender than he should be, but he definitely makes guys think twice before strolling to the rim.

He really could be a dominating player if his desire was greater.

That's the thing with Drummond, the light could go on at any time. I still have hopes that Beilein is the real deal. Love what we have seen from Sexton and KPJ so far this year.

The more I think about it, the more I think Love might really like this. Larry's development as a 3 pt shooter also makes the pairing of him and Drummond as probably the 2 guys that anchor our best defensive lineup.
