While I agree that Love should rest and recover so we can get him back to 100% for the stretch run, I am not sure who covers those big minute right now without him.
Regardless, even with his bad shooting I think he is a massive net plus on offense. He is a great passer from the elbow and the outlets of course. The other thing with him is that he is always in the right position on offense. His offensive IQ might be the 2nd highest on this team (after Ricky). Well timed cuts, screens, being a spacing threat etc all has value for the offense which is why he is still having those positive BPM games despite the 1-5 shooting nights. Hope we can find him some rest so he can recover and we get that great bench lineup back

He got his ass benched tonight. What a disaster of a performance out of him. Sure looks like he needs some time off.

Before his injury, this year he was 58/147 on 3s, good for .395, an attempt every .26 minutes which is almost the highest frequency in the league.

His shot didn't "wash up" suddenly, the "he's washed get rid of him" sentiment is Ill advised. Combination of a slump and finger injury. Man has shot well for 15 years and was one of the best shooters in the game as recently as a month and a half ago and all it takes is a ten game sample size for people to entirely turn on him.

Until he can start shooting again he's unplayable. He's a guy you tolerate sucking at pretty much everything because he's such a threat as a shooter. But if he can't make shots...

90% of the game is half mental!! Right now we're seeing a perfect example in Ice and Kevin.

Kev looks done.. like done done. I don't think he gets traded, but I do think he needs to get dialed back way more. Dean Wade can't get healed fast enough. Our bench is going from a strength to a weakness with this version of Love (and Cedi I might add)

He’s finished and we have a depth issue now because of it

Wade should take his minutes, but he’s not a physical presence. Stevens isn’t that guy either. An active, strong, backup big would be nice.
