He said love could fill the horford role. Which was defense passing and team play. Defense isn’t loves game. So he can’t play the horford role. I didn’t say al was better than love. But that’s besides the point love isn’t the same player. He can’t move.
Fair enough on the role comparison, but you also said Al can make more of an 'impact' on the floor than Love. Only on defense would I agree. When it comes to offense and rebounds, Love is vastly superior. Fact is, when both were healthy, Love destroyed Horford: 22.6 ppg, 12.4 rpg, 1.4 stl, 1.2 blk, 23 out of 43 three pointers (better than 50%) in five games. Horford's weak 12.4 points and 4.2 rebounds weren't even close.
