Osman was open but again, that's what we designed up with 6 seconds left? Had no clue they might double Garland? So, I thought about it and cooled down a bit about that pass.

Either the coaches gave them a real PoS play to run, or someone did something wrong (Osman).

Yeah. With the total lack of timeouts I doubt they had an opportunity to draw something up.

It’s basketball 101 in that situation for the player in Osman’s position to immediately sprint to the baseline and receive the pass. They he can look to hit the other guard (Garland) if open, look to the middle of the floor (where Mobley was), or worst case go back to the trailer who inbounded (Love).

You teach 6th graders that stuff. Osman just fell asleep at the wheel and Love tried to make a play to compensate for it.

The next time love gets his hands up on defense will be the first time.

Love was probably the biggest reason the Cavs were down 40-20 after 1. He shot their offense out of the gym in the first quarter and Minnesota got whatever they wanted when he was on the floor all night.

I am happy for Kevin and how these last years of his career have worked out both for him and the Cavs. But games like this are a reminder that there is reason his role had to change. He has become one of the best big man shooters in the world, his passing is outstanding, and he is smart with positioning, but his all-around game just can't hold up for long periods of time, especially against another team's starters. 15-20 minutes of Kevin are usually valuable and sometimes amazing. But, anything over that is likely going to see diminishing returns.

Body language, play and defense was horrible tonight. He's letting his guy blow by him and blaming others for not helping.

It's not easy to defend 3pt line when is Kevin is on the floor. That's why I prefer Dean in Love's role. And Diakite given more chances to play.

I was looking up some stats and it's amazing how good prime Kevin Love really was (without being an elite athlete too).

Barkley's best season (90-91, highest PER of 28.9) vs. Kevin's best season (13-14, highest PER of 26.9):

Wouldn't be surprised if he hurt that hand when Allen launched into him pregame.

Still have no clue what Allen was thinking.

We have literally no bench except LeVert and no backup PF now.

Last season guys had to play more than they were accustomed to and it got them hurt. Rubio blew his knee out because DG was out and they had no other PG.
