I wouldn't put bosh in.
You’d be inconsistent with history.

There are 400 members of the HOF.

Chris Bosh has
Made All Star game 11/13 years in the league

Top 100 All time in points and boards
Has 2 rings

If you added all that up, I’d guess he’d be in the top 25% of HOF members.

The ASG’s alone is extremely rare. 2 rings are rare. I’d think that many ASG’s and 2 rings together there can’t be more than 5 guys.

Bosh was also struck down at 31 by his heart condition with several years of his late prime to go. He was still really good when it happened. Had he been able to make it in good condition to the Jimmy Butler era in Miami he might have made some more noise in the playoffs

And???

You absolutely and 100% cannot give extra credit to a player because he retired early/ had to stop playing/etc.

At the end of the day a playing career is a playing career.

I think this is the best basketball of his career. He's just really good at manipulating the game.

I wouldn't trade love. He's a big part of the locker room. I don't think they need to make a move at all.
Wait. I just replied to another comment from you in another thread where you said we should trade Jarrett Allen….

I was just throwing out if we "had" to make a move in that thread. You have to give something up to get something. In general we need no moves to make this year.

I didnt realize Bosh was able to play 13 years, wow. Yeah Bosh is a HOFer, but didnt realize his resume was that good to be honest.

and 400 members? Do you know how many are players, if all are players that means 8% of players make the HOF, does seem a bit too many percentage make it if true

I'm gaining a ton of respect for Love these last few years, first for coming out about his mental health issues and secondly for his unselfish attitude this year. He said he will "do anything to push this team forward". When the Cavs were missing their top three point guards against Detroit in a trap game he stepped in with 10 assists and the Cavs won by 24 points. When we needed scoring against Boston he knocked down eight 3's and scored 29 points.

I thought the last couple years of his contract we'd be throwing money away as Love battled injuries and struggled to be productive when he wasn't injured. That turned out not to be the case. He accepted a bench role and reduced minutes without complaint and graciously stepped aside so Mobley could start at power forward. When he's called upon he provides productive minutes and he's also a leader and role model on a young team.

He still puts his body in front of people to draw charges and he's always looking to hit the open man. He's just a total team player that still can produce at a high level when he's on his game. He almost had the fourth triple-double of his career against Detroit.

After a quick search, somewhere in the 100-150 range?

A lot of these members are indeed women’s players, internat’l players, Globetrotters, or ABA’ers.

Before last season I would've sent him away like they did with JR or Drummond. Him throwing the ball out of bounds against Toronto iritated me to no end. With his play and professionalism since, I'd have a hard time trading him, at all.

Right now he’s worth every cent we’re paying him this season. Hopefully he can keep playing at a high level although I don’t think his ridiculously good current play is a realistic expectation for the year.
