They should see if Love will sign another super max extension this offseason.. I mean, what the hell. Maybe it work this time.

I was against keeping Love back when he re-signed, seems like Gourimoko was strongly in favor of the signing if I recall correctly. I've always stuck up for Love but I'm more interested in trying to acquire players who fit the more modern NBA physical stereotype... Long, lean, athletic players, not the plodding/slow guys, not the undersized guards either. I've been shit outta luck with a lot of choices made by the Cavs in Sexton and Garland but I learn to love the guys on our roster regardless of my underlying wish that we'd just go more for tall athletic players and sort it out from there instead of always going against the grain.

Unfortunately I think we're stuck with him until next year's trading deadline, at the soonest.

Know what's cracking me up right now?

Love is only going to play six less games than Nance this season, yet Nance hasn't taken more than a teaspoon of the shit Love has taken.

Nothing personal, but I have to imagine that Nance is a far more desirable commodity, and is likely to remain so for the remaining years of Love's NBA career. I may end up wrong about this, but it's pretty close to chalk right now.

He can't stay healthy or shoot....I find it hilarious that nobody mention that we should trade him especially when he provides no spacing at all.

There was a lot of criticism about Love's health earlier in the season, but now that he's been back, it seems most of the criticism toward Love lately has less to do with his health and more to do with his attitude, contract, and lack of leadership.

I think that’s because of the perception that Nance has contributed way more to this team when healthy than Love has this season.

I don’t even know if that’s true, but that’s what it feels like.

What happened to that Gourimoko person? He might be Kevin Love account?

He's not overpaid and we can actually get some assets for him. His injuries are most likely legit and he don't start shit and complain on the court like Love.

It's incredibly important for people who hate somebody to continue to feed off that hatred, even if the reasons have to constantly change.

Did I get that right?

Come on Keys, Nance makes like one third the salary Love does! Also, he’s 5 years younger and not on the downslope of his career so you can hope for more

I'm probably Love's biggest fan here (after you). My username says it all.

But I also have the quip under it now because he's been disappointing lately.

In the last two seasons, he's had tantrums, hasn't given full effort, and hasn't been a strong leader for the younger crew. This is all after he got a huge contract, too.

There are some users here who will always pile on Love regardless; after over three years on the site, I know who they are. Those are the true haters.

For the rest of us, we can still have constructive criticism of Love, even if we are his fans.

Oh, Love had a season he can't wait to forget. It really was a nightmare, especially since last season went pretty well for him.

But wow, why stop at Love? That's my question.

I wouldn't say it stops at Love.

For example, I've seen lots of criticism geared toward Sexton, Garland, and Okoro at different times. (Okoro had a great night tonight, so we won't see that criticism now, but he's had a bit over the season for his lack of offense.) Sexton has tunnel vision, is ball dominant, picks and chooses defensively, etc. Garland can be passive, tries too many floaters, prefers one area of court over the other, etc.

People here have also been highly critical of Cedi Osman lately. This from a guy who once was the possible fan favorite at RCF in his rookie year due to his energy and seeming Ginobili-like potential. But he has failed to replicate that, and seems to be a guy who can only thrive in a system with other ball dominant stars.

As for Nance, he's gotten less lately, but I do recall a time when people were irritated that he tried to play guard-like too much (dribbling up the court, etc.). He could get some more criticism for being soft with his health this season, but as I've explained, there are plenty of other players criticized a lot here besides Love -- especially Osman.
