There seems to be a lot of debate about Larry in his thread whether he is a PF or C. So, was curious how many feel he is a PF and how many feel he is a C. Lets get voting.

I don't know why this is a big debate, aside from there's nothing else to talk about. The days of five positions on the floor is dying. The reason Larry slipped in his draft is that he doesn't fit comfortably in either box, but he is smart and supremely athletic.

I see he and Zizic if we keep them both being the situational starting center of the future. Larry can be a very good switching center and lil Z can play the Embiids out there.

I think in the future this will be the norm for teams that don't have a star at the C position. Usually play small, but have a

I am about the only one who thinks Larry and Zizic can play together. I only saw them for a few minutes, but they were quite good defensively, and rebounding. I think they have some chemistry prob from practice.

Also depending on everything that happens this summer Larry can definitely play the 4 if we draft Wendell Carter Jr. He has a jumper and I think he will adjust to the NBA 3 pt line in a reasonable amount of time. Very good touch

I think long term Larry is a Center.

But ideally you want Larry at 4 with a Center like Al Horford or Marc Gasol at 5. Larry would be the perfect compliment for them at 4 with his athleticism.

I am not worried about defense. Offensively, Larry at 4 kinda kills the spacing unless your 5 can shoot well and somehow stretch the floor. Or at least you need 3 absolute snipers at SF, SG and PG.

He’s a rotational guy during the reg season, fringe playoff guy.
He’ll be great during a rebuild, but very moveable when it’s time to contend.
Really do not see the fringe playoff guy .. seemed to be effective vs. Warriors when given the opportunity

Remember when we (I included) used to wank silly over the gibson/pavlovic/LeBron/varejao/hickson super lineup of the future? Or how we had pro-Dion Waiters fan clubs?

Time to stop hyping these averagely talented players because they're young. If nothing stands out in their skillset at a young age they have nothing to build on and there's a good chance nothing ever will. Don't want to go through another awful rebuild.

Nance is a good piece to have but I can't even project him as reaching the levels of a 2016 TT.

I don’t agree. He was eaten alive by GS and was barely active in the previous rounds.
I like him, great legacy guy and all that. But he’s an undersized center at best, and a four with no range.
I’m not slamming him by any means, but I don’t see him as legit piece on a playoff contender at this stage in his career.

Was easily our second best player in the postseason by most measures, but he had one bad game against the Warriors so stick a fork in him I guess.

Nance is a trade piece no matter what LeBron does. Just is not that good and TT level player. Lakers really took the Cavs for a ride.
