I so much hoped he would have stayed in Cleveland. But..what can you do. I hope he gets traded somewhere else. Playing again in a rebuilding team can be challenging for him for motivation. He obviously liked a lot the whole environment in Cleveland. Personally Cavs will stay my favorite team in the east. Possibly in top 4 now. Let's see how this will impact his Euro effort starting tomorrow.

I am really bummed that Lauri has been traded.

I thought he was due for a great year and I know he truly enjoyed playing in Cleveland.

I would like to thank all our Finnish friends for keeping us updated about Lauri via Finnish media and bringing so much to the site!

I personally have loved our conversations about Finland, how much Sweden sucks and, of course, Mannerheim!

The Marshal is ever proud of Lauri!

I do hope that while Lauri is headed to Utah, that all of you will stay with us, or at least visit from time to time! You are always welcome!

While I thought the triple towers may not have been the main lineup for us long term, it was basically the only lineup we had a clear advantage with last season. I'm not convinced this coaching staff will be to stumble into good lineups with the pieces we gave up and the holes we now have.

I ended up really really enjoying Lauri this season, although the wife still calls him a stormtrooper because of his awful shooting stretch he had during the middle of the season.

Really sad to see Lauri go. He was my favorite non star. He could fit into any lineup. I would have rather given up love than Lauri if that was possible.

Man, this sucks.

After 4 years of force watching unlikeable Bulls, this Cavs team was a dream to watch. Likeable players and playing style, promising future etc. Just to get traded to probably the worst team in the league after one year. I don't know, I think I will uncork a bottle of Marskin ryyppy (Marshal's drink) and drown my sorrows.

Fare thee well, Lauri. In a perfect world we would've been able to keep him. Garland/Mitchell/Lauri/Mobley/Allen would've been terrifying and fun. Lots of respect for the guy.
