No right now it’s Okoro….

2/3 weeks ago the people who were bitching about Lauri are now gonna suggest doom for the squad because Lauri is gonna miss time….
Folks have kinda piled on Okoro all season long, except that one stretch when he had the awesome dunk on three guys.

Honestly this is decent news. Worst case is he’s out for a month or so. With the allstar break coming up there’s build in off time.
RISE. RISE. RISE.

Not to throw cold water, but a “pretty good sprain” could take much longer than a month.

That exact play is how I broke the bottom of my leg near my ankle. I heard it pop (break), was able to limp to my car, drove home, took a shower, and then drove myself to get X-rays.

Hoping for the best for Big Markk.

I swear, every time one of the guys get going something happens.

First it was COVID with Allen and Markk. Then Okoro just as he was slaying it.

And now, once again, a starter is feeling it and BOOM.

I guess we can probably expect to see Lauri shooting 40% from three again sometime in April.

Blessing in disguise. Now we can trade for another cheap young 7 footer and see if this tower lineup still works.

I have a month for so. 4-6 weeks. If it’s broke (like yours) it’s a different story.
But that is not being reported.

Other teams have lost / will lose players. Hopefully Koby can get us reinforcements.

The medical takes on the game thread were a bit much. Ankle injuries vary widely in terms of severity and time missed. At this point we don’t know. For some people, though, fewer facts mean more certainty in their opinions. An orthopedist wouldn’t draw any conclusions until he got the imaging done and examined the patient, but internet docs know everything based on their own anecdotal experiences.

Man, when I say... this sucks. He was on track to replicate his Chicago performance against the Thunder.

At least it's a sprain and not a season ending injury.

Negative? They didn't find the ankle? :D
As a certified internet doctor I am sorry to announce that negative means not positive, and since positive is good then negative means bad, bad, bad. They do great things with prosthetics nowadays though, so he should be fitted with a new spring loaded titanium lower leg before you know it. It should increase his vertical by 6 to 8 inches.
