Lebron 6-9 260?

We are indeed going to bring this up again because it got so little coverage when he mentioned it and because we're hearing that it's 100 percent true: LeBron (yikes) says he has grown an inch and 20 pounds to 6-9, 260.

I don't think he's grown (recently), they just haven't updated his official size and weight since the draft. Windhorst noted how much bigger LeBron was like a a year and a half ago.

Isn't Ben Wallace listed at 6'9? When I went to the game last night, LeBron was clearly taller than him.

During an interview last week, James said he was 6-foot-9 and 260 pounds, which caught some off guard since he is listed at 6-8 and 250. When he came into the NBA, his official size at the predraft workouts was 6-8, 240. The Cavs added 10 pounds to the roster last season. But James jokingly backed down Monday, saying: ''I'm 6-7, 240.'' The 6-9, 260 figure is probably close to accurate. Not that rosters mean much, Zydrunas Ilgauskas has been listed at 7-3 for years, but he says he is 7-2.

He obviously likes toying with people about his true size. He definitely looks 250-260 to me. Look at him now compared to his first game ever @ Sacramento. He looks much bigger now.

Everyone passes this over, but do you remember what BW said last week? LBJ is the most tested member of the Cavs. Even the NBA is having a hard time believe he is such a freakish athlete. He's been tested 4 times this season...other Cavs haven't been tested twice yet. This just shows how phenominal his size and strength really is.

I saw the same thing at the Garden last week. During the pre-game routine Lebron and Ben Wallace were standing side by side. Lebron dwarfed him. I couldn't believe my eyes, but I'm beginning to understand that Lebron has grown and Ben has shrunk. Some of the latter might just be the absence of the Afro, but it also seems to me that Wallace has lost some muscle mass.
