LeBron Free Agency Part VII (The Final Chapter)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LeBron is getting a "co-star" out of all of this. I think that was the goal of this whole thing aside from the marketing aspect of it(seriously I've read the phrase "CEO Maverick Carter" more times in the last few days than ever before).

It very well could be Amare in NYC. Or Rose in Chicago. If he stays, I think that Chris Paul could find his way to the Cavs.

I'm starting to get nervous, but I'll go with one more upbeat thought:

I think this has all been scripted for a long time (before the season ended) and that the only wild card was whether Bosh would team up with LeBron in Cleveland or Wade in Miami. He chose Wade and LeBron instantly turned his sights to Chris Paul. Paul can't come this year, but he can eventually.

I still have a really, really, hard time believing that LeBron would announce he's deserting Cleveland in an hour long show called "The Decision."

If he leaves, I'll be disappointed but I wont think of him as a Judas or a traitor. Certainly not on the level of Art Modell.

If he leaves its because he wants to win before he gets old, I think he understands that its hard to get FA to sign here and with the new competition with in the East its going to be real rough to get something going in C-Town.

I hope he stays, but understand if he doesnt.

Also, seriously, no matter what happens I love you guys and this site. This usually is by far the best message board out there. I hope we get some good news for the franchise tonight, but, either way, I love being a cavs fan.

The truth. best site by far.

SportsCenter anchor in Miami: There is a tremendous amount of confidence here that LBJ will sign with Miami.

Believeland! Still feel like he's staying, but 9ish won't come soon enough

I have no faith whatsoever in Ric Bucher when he talks about LeBron James. None. He's slightly more credible on other subjects, but can't take him seriously when subject is LeBron.

I just like it because it gives me hope...even if its false...am I the only fan that had trouble sleeping last night? If LBJ leaves its gonna be hard to stomache watching the NBA for the rest of his career just because its going to be a constant reminder of how he ditched town in such a lousy fashion. It upsets me more that if he leaves hes leaving with this this hour long jerk off session on ESPN which will only be played back everytime the shit hits the fan in any Cleveland sport. That montage is the worst thing in the world you feel like shit because your already losing and your getting eliminated then ABC/ESPN/CBS or whoever, throws up every shitty thing to ever happen to cleveland. The announcers pretend to care but the people in the control room directing the broadcast are just laughing there asses off and getting such joy out of it. Lastly if he does bounce on Cleveland I'm down to pretty much the browns. Baseball is so screwed with the lack of a cap that the indians are basically a Quad A team for the rest of the Majors and not that its fair to the cavs, they have done a great job trying to surround LBJ with talent especially with what they had but if we can't win a title with the best player in the league on our team what should cause me to think we will win one without him. Ugh why am I such a die hard Cleveland fan? Why should someones decision of where to play have such stress on me. Sorry all for posting I try to lurk in the background but I just needed to rant. keep up the good posts. /rant

Broussard now on SC:

* Indications are LBJ to Heat. Running off sources

* BUT...many twists and turns. Can't count out any destination yet. BUT, my sources say looks like MIA

You know he was making a movie out of this, and every movie needs a little drama. But in the end, it is always a happy ending ;)

Broussard: Peeps in Cleveland will not believe LBJ is leaving until and unless LBJ says he is leaving.
