The dude better use that shoe money to fix and clean his damn teeth.
Damn Lavar just said if you're struggling financially, you can't make it big.

So no comment on this comment that other have referred to from Lavar:
“Realistically you can’t win no championship with three white guys because the foot speed is too slow,” LaVar Ball said.

DedWho the fuck that plays basketball can afford those?
If you spend $495 on basketball shoes, you either have too much money, or fucked-up priorities.
Translation: I can't afford to order enough inventory to keep my costs down cause I'm NOT a BIG BALLER...
Damn Lavar just said if you're struggling financially, you can't make it big.
Other than that that whole first part you brought up is just shit talking. Like seriously it's just talk.
That's not surprising since there's always been a crab mentality in our community (I am obviously black) and you can feel the jealousy and hate in a lot of responses towards Lavar especially from black folks. Also the Cam Newton reference I brought up speaks for itself.
And why is shit-talking something that he shouldn't be blasted for? Again, the guy is deliberately putting himself out there and developing a public persona for the purpose of making money. He wants people to listen to the shit he's talking, judge him, and then buy the $495 shoe because his public persona as an outrageous shit-talker is so cool.
How in the world was that "obvious"? I honestly thought you were white. And I rattled off a bunch of white people who were absolutely blasted for saying and doing dumb-ass things, so Cam Newton isn't the argument ender you apparently think he was.
You think it's just that he's black that people are questioning what he's doing with his kids, etc.? Ever heard of Todd Marinovich, and how he was perceived while in college and leading up to his draft? A lot of parallels in how that relationship was perceived by the public even though his father didn't do the same level of "shit-talking". And he was about the ultimate white guy.
I didn't say the only reason people are questioning what he's doing is because he's black. I said he is a loud talking black man who rubs people the wrong way and will not get the benefit of the doubt no matter what he says. Look at a lot of what people are saying.
All of the I wish he would just shut up people want to silence him but all he's doing is trying to promote and build their family brand. I get that people don't like the way he's doing it. That's not the issue. People didn't like how LeBron got on and put all his friends on with him. That comes with the territory when you are black....
My point is that if people don't like what he's doing and are so sure that he's going to flame out than let him. Why do people feel the need to silence him like everyone has to follow the same rules to achieve success. That's why I brought up him being black and that's why I mentioned Cam Newton. A lot of the people who don't like Cam Newton because he dances and smiles are real quick to tell you who or what he should act like. They're real quick to tell you how Cam should act like a real FQB like Brady or Rodgers like that's the only way to play the game. Lavar doesn't owe shit to anybody but his kids and people refuse to look past what he's doing to see that it's for his kids because they don't like the way he's doing it.
Tough shit. Let them live.
I did look at what a lot of people are saying, and the only one who are bringing race into this are those who are defending the guy -- like being black is an excuse for being an asshat. It's not.
It comes with the territory when you are human. I have absolutely zero doubt that if the Kardashians were black, you'd be ranting about how the only reason so many people hate/mock them is because they are black.
What the hell does any of that have to do with being black? Joe Namath was absolutely hated by a lot of sport fans because of the whole "Broadway Joe" persona. A lot of sports fans dislike showboating, and always have regardless of race. People blasted whitey Manziel long before he flamed out in the pros because they didn't like his whole party persona in college. I also mentioned Marinovich, who you're probably too young to remember, but the public reaction to him and his dad (in particular) was along the same lines as the reaction to Ball.
Who is saying they can't live? Or do you really mean "why can't people just leave them alone?" Because the answer to that is easy -- They don't want to be left alone.
