I realize that the OSU forum on RCF isn't very good, but it's really annoying to see every thread turn into either OSU vs UM or OSU vs ND. Can we at least atttempt to not constantly go off topic into those areas? This goes for everyone, Buckeye fan or not.
I remember complaining about this last year to Mac, and he's been great about it ever since. If the number one Domer on this site can behave then I'm sure the rest of you can too.
Concerning Teddy, he's a mediocre route runner, but a fantastic play maker with the ball in his hands. If you get him the ball, he can make something happen, be it a pass, a run, or a return. Barring injuries, he'll be successful in the nfl in the return game, if nothing else.
Having said that, I'll be suprised if he's not a pretty good receiver in the nfl in a few years. We all know he has elite speed, quickness, elusiveness, vision, but he also has really good hands. He did have a couple drops last year, but these were all of the variety where he took his eyes off the ball to look up field. That's a concentration issue that can be fixed. When he looks the ball into his hands, he can make some amazing grabs. He's also tall. That makes the only two weaknesses in his WR game route running and size/strength. The latter he may never improve at, but route running he can defenitely improve. Keep in mind that he's only played wr full time for two years. He's a bright kid, a hard worker, and someone who loves the game. I'm having a hard time believing he's not going to be a good route runner soon, hopefully this year.
