Okay, I made this thread to essentially look at past drafts and think about what we thought of them...

@Tondo I actually have a question for you... do you still have your old draft lists? (like 2010-2018) I am curious how well you did... and I am curious how well the mocks and projections did as well. Do you still have the older ones? This is just something fun to look at in my mind..

I don't compile straight Draft Boards, simply because it's a futile exercise, especially with HS.

My specialty is mid/late round overlooked college value. A lot of those keep popping up as top prospects and make it to Majors and I always wonder why 30 FOs let them get by for multiple rounds.

I also had a run of basically predicting Bieber, Eli Morgan, Kwan and Brennan as CLE picks weeks before the draft. I had 40ish college pitching favs listed for the 2021 Draft and around 10 got selected by Cleveland.

Willie Hood does a great job with this and we always end up with similar targets.

Got any of those lists of the guys you really liked?

Also I think its getting a bit easier to predict guys Cleveland is going for... College arms that throw strikes with repeatable deliveries and hitters with plus contact skills...

I just wish signing bonuses were easier to predict since baseball drafting is a chess game at times and not always the BPA is taken

I look back really fondly on the 2019 draft. I had Crooked Stave's Nightmare on Brett as one of the two kegs in my kegerator--still my most expensive beer on draft, but God was it worth it.
