Just saw the Lions have offered him 6 years 32 million FINAL offer from the Lions he is leaving at 9. I say Phil NEEDS to top that pronto and get us a playmaker here.

McGinest is set to start visiting other teams, either Phil really wants Julian, we signed him, or he was asking too much...I hope we get willie or julina preferably julian..

Before the injury, Peterson was quick enough to defend wide recievers downfield and tough enough to line up at DE. If he was on a better defensive team with some semblance of coaching, he could have been known as the best outside backer in the league. If his health improves, which it should, he will be light years ahead of Edwards.

That said, I'm in the Willie McGinest corner. He is a Crennel guy and has more leadership skills than anyone else available. He would immediately give us what Reggie White gave the Green Bay Packers in the twilight of his fantastic career: a pass rusher who makes everyone else better. We are a young and relatively inexperienced defense besides Big Teddy.
