Is there anyone who wants to help with doing the weekly minor league threads?

We love @MadThinker88 for all his work for the daily threads, but we need to give him some help/allow him to take a step back!

I just have a bad schedule for adding the daily lineups and whatnot to the thread, so it would be cool if there was someone who could update it daily. I think the system Mad has setup should be solid enough, though if someone wants to do they can set it up the way they wish to. Any helpers/volunteers?

Did he reach out to you? If not, let him be as he does a great job of it. If he doesn't want to or can't he won't and someone else will... I know it's slow but it's only Jan 17th, minor league games are months away...

He seems to like doing it and made it his "thing". Until HE says otherwise, have at it Mad!

Sure.

The Columbus Clippers have been on a roll lately. The team, known for their strong pitching and solid defense, has been tearing through the league, winning game after game and climbing the standings.

The Clippers' success has been led by their ace, pitcher Jake Taylor. Taylor, a hard-throwing right-hander, has been nearly untouchable this season, with an ERA of just 1.89 and a record of 8-1. He's been dominant on the mound, striking out batters at an alarming rate and keeping opposing hitters guessing with his devastating slider.

Offensively, the Clippers have been led by outfielder Alex Call. Call, who was promoted from Double-A earlier this season, has been hitting the cover off the ball, with a batting average of .326 and an on-base percentage of .385. He's been a sparkplug at the top of the lineup, setting the table for the rest of the team and causing headaches for opposing pitchers.

The rest of the team has been playing well too, with key contributions coming from all over the roster. Shortstop Ernie Clement has been a steady presence in the field and at the plate, while catcher Eric Haase has been a force behind the plate, both defensively and offensively.

The Clippers are currently sitting in first place in their division and are looking to make a push for the league championship. With their strong pitching, solid defense, and potent offense, the team is well-equipped to make a run at the title. The fans in Columbus are excited to see what the team will do in the coming weeks and months, and the team is confident that they can bring a championship to the city.

But in the bottom of the eighth inning, the Captains' shortstop, Michael Rivera, came through with a clutch two-out single that scored the game's only run. The Captains' pitching staff was led by starter Triston McKenzie who threw six shutout innings, striking out eight batters.

The next game was against the Great Lakes Loons, the Captains continued their winning ways, with a 5-2 victory. The offense was led by first baseman, Brent Rooker, who hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning that gave the Captains the lead for good. The pitching staff was once again led by reliever Nick Sandlin, who threw two shutout innings to secure the win.

The third game of the week was against the Fort Wayne TinCaps. The Captains secured their spot in the playoffs with a 7-3 victory. The offense was led by center fielder, Oscar Gonzalez, who hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning and a solo shot in the ninth. The pitching staff was led by starter Shane Bieber who threw six solid innings and struck out eight.

The Captains ended the week on a high note with a 8-4 win over the Bowling Green Hot Rods. The offense was led by designated hitter, Willi Castro, who hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning. The pitching staff was led by reliever, Kyle Nelson, who threw two scoreless innings and struck out three.

The Captains ended the week with a perfect record and secured a spot in the playoffs. The next game was against the Harrisburg Senators, and the RubberDucks were not able to continue their winning ways, losing 4-2. The offense was led by catcher Francisco Mejia who hit a solo homer in the fourth inning but the pitching staff was not able to hold the lead.

Well this is a time to figure out who can help make life easier is it not?

And if we're looking for more overall roster analysis instead of weekly writeups...

The Akron RubberDucks have a talented roster that features a mix of young prospects and experienced players.

The team's strength lies in its pitching staff, which features several highly-regarded prospects. The ace of the staff is Triston McKenzie, a hard-throwing right-hander who is considered one of the top prospects in the Cleveland Indians organization. McKenzie has a mid-90s fastball and a devastating slider that has been known to make batters look foolish. He has been one of the top pitchers in the Eastern League this season, and is expected to be a future mainstay in the Indians' rotation.

Another key member of the pitching staff is Aaron Civale, a right-handed pitcher who has been consistent all season. He has a strong ability to induce ground ball and has a good command of his pitches. He has been one of the most reliable starter in the RubberDucks rotation this season.

The team also features a solid group of relievers, including Argenis Angulo, Nick Sandlin and Kyle Nelson, all of whom have been effective in shutting down opposing teams in late innings.

Offensively, the RubberDucks are led by outfielder Daniel Johnson, who has been one of the best power-hitters in the Eastern League this season, hitting several walk-off home runs. He has also been strong defensively. Another key offensive player is Francisco Mejia, a catcher who has been hitting well all season and is known for his strong arm and defensive skills behind the plate.

The team also features a solid group of infielders, including Nolan Jones, Mark Mathias and Ernie Clement, who have been consistent contributors both offensively and defensively.

Overall, the Akron RubberDucks have a well-rounded roster that features a mix of young prospects and experienced players. The team's strength is their pitching staff, but they also have solid offensive and defensive players that can help them make a run for the championship.

A lot of things can change between now and then, sure if you want to feel people out I guess you can, but unless Mad asked you too... Better to wait.

Maybe someone can tally all our Winterball player stats for the time being???

Sooner the better when it comes to figuring things out!

That would be actually pretty cool if we could have the stats organized...

Is there anyone willing to help start the threads for the week?
