Akron getting smoked tonight. Through 5 the only offense mustered is a Juan Brito walk. Mace struggled as well, current the Ducks are down 5-0.

Columbus is playing their 1st game of their doubleheader and a couple notes

1. Brayan Rocchio - obviously playing great but it is hard believe he just hit only his 2nd homer of the year.
2. Hunter Gaddis - is struggling... 1.1 IP with 3hits including a homer and 3BB. Seems like an ideal candidate to add to a deal.

Gaddis = bullpen arm in my mind... He's going to be really good that way from the pen in due time...

Looks like we bought a started for Columbus, I was expecting better numbers but he sucks. Pretty sure it's been awhile since we plucked a Indy ball guy I remember an A baller (1st baseman I think) years ago.

From what I see... He mostly pitched at AAA last season, with a cameo in the bigs and had pitch in the bigs most of the seasons since like 2015... So he's a veteran pitcher...

He's had a couple solid MLB years, absolutely terrible in Indy ball this year. With Touki gone and Arias suspended I suspect he'll stick around for a minute, especially if someone nabs Norris. Maybe the evaluators see something in him that doesn't show up in the stats.

He's not Rule 5 eligible for awhile, so they won't need to...

Probably have to consider him a corner OF in the future projections cause of the injury... Let's hope he can stay in CF since that means his foot is healed properly

deLauter was considered/projected to corner outfield from the day he was drafted.. Size, speed and arm strength profile as a right fielder..
