Sounds like though the MLB wants the MLBPA to drop some of the previous grievances they had filed against MLB... Maybe just let the arbitrator take care of that on a later date. Just get the deal done MLB (stop added in small things at random times)

Generally, the Executive Board first votes on whether or not to recommend to the players that the deal be approved. But that isn't binding, and the players themselves can still vote differently from the recommendation.

If the "vibes" are correct, it may mean that the union leadership may be out of step with the wishes of the players.
