With @camakazee 's blessing, I've decided to bring back the neat-o stats of the night. Hope I can do it justice in time.

3/3 @ Atlanta

Strong Start:

*The Cavaliers put up a 39 spot in the 1st quarter, the 3rd time they've reached that plateau this season.

*The 39 points was their highest scoring 1st quarter vs an Eastern Conference team since 11/15/2014, which also came against the Hawks.

Glass is Half Full:

*The Cavs put up 77 points in the 1st half, 3rd most in franchise history and the most 1st half points they've ever put up on the road.

*The Cavaliers 77 1st half points is also the 6th most put up by any team on the road in the past 20 years.

Glass is Half Empty:

*The Cavs gave up a 60 spot in the 1st half tonight, the 8th time they've done that this season. However, they are now 6-2 in those games.

Points Galore:

*The Cavs allowed 130+ points in a non-OT game for the 2nd time in the past two seasons. Prior to last season, they had allowed 130 points in a non-OT game twice in the previous 25 seasons.

*The Clevelanders scored 135+ points in a non-OT game for the 2nd time this season and the 8th time in franchise history.

*The 135 points scored is the most in a non-OT road game in franchise history.

Good Signs:

*Richard Jefferson went 3-5 from deep tonight and is now 8-16 (.500) over his last 5 games. He had been 2 for his previous 15 and 7 for his previous 28.

*Channing Frye had 3 triples himself tonight, going 3-6. He was 6 for his previous 26 coming into tonight.

New and Improved:

*New backup PG Deron Williams has 9 assists and 1 turnover in just over 41 minutes of action as a Cav.

*Derrick Williams, trying to revive his career as a Cavalier, has drilled 12 triples as a Wine and Golder (12-29). That's 1 less than he hit in his previous 25 games combined, dating back to last season.

Rare Breeds:

*Kyrie Irving finished with 43p, 9a, 4s, and 5 triples on just 21 FGA. The only other player to have done this on 21 or fewer FGA (at least since '83-84) is Dwyane Wade.

*LeBron James had 38p, 13r, 8a, and 6 3ptM. He joins Vince Carter and James Harden as the only players to have ever had such a stat line.

*LeBron is the only of the three to have this stat line with 2 or fewer turnovers.

Road Warrior:

*LeBron James over his last 9 road games:
27.4/8.4/10.7 on .543 shooting (.490 from deep)

Beast of the (South)East:

*LeBron James vs the South East Division:
29.4/8.4/8.8/1.78s on .527 shooting (.525 from deep)

Front End Alignment:

*The Cavaliers have improved to 10-2 on the front end of a back to back. They've averaged 114.5 PPG in their 10 wins.

3/4 @ Miami

Early Bird:

*The Cavs put up 35 in the 1st quarter tonight, the 11th time they've done that this season.

*It's the 6th time they've done it on the road, tied with Houston for most in the NBA

3 & ?:

*The Cavaliers drilled 10 triples for the 15th straight game, the 7th highest streak in history.

*All of the 7 longest streaks have come in the past 3 seasons. The Cavs are responsible for 3 of them.

*The Cavs have allowed 120+ points in back to back games for the 2nd time this season.

*That matches the number of times they had allowed 120+ points in back to back games over the previous 28 seasons combined.

D-Wills:

*Deron Williams had himself a 10/5/7 game in 26 minutes. It's the 10th such stat line (in 26 or less minutes) in Cavs history.

*With the 7 assists, Deron now has 16 assists as a Cav to just 3 turnovers.

*Derrick Williams drilled a 3 for the 4th consecutive game. He hasn't made a triple in 5 straight games since his 2nd year in the league.

*Derrick also has now scored 7+ points in 10 consecutive games, something he hasn't done since the 2014-2015 season.

Hot Frye:

*Frye went 9-12 (3-5 from deep) for his 21 points tonight. He is now 13-19 (6-11 from deep) over the last 2 games.

Lue-ving on Up:

*With his next victory, Tyronn Lue will get his 70th win as a Cav, which will move him into 6th place by himself in Cavs history.

I was wondering what stats you’d be able to uncover after this trainwreck of a game but there’s actually some good stuff here!

3/6 vs Miami

(The "Why try?" AKA "Larry Drew" edition)

(Dedicated to Andrew Bogut)

Early Bird Doesn't Get the Worm:

*The Cavs allowed 29 points in the 1st quarter tonight, the 21st time they've done that this season. That's the most since 2013-14 (25).

*The most times in a season they've allowed 29+ points in the 1st quarter in the past 30 years has been 34 (2010-11).

Glass Half Empty:

*For the 3rd straight game (and the 10th time this season), the Cavs allowed a 60 spot in the 1st half.

*That's already the 5th most 60+ point 1st halves they've allowed in a single season over the past 30 years.

*To put that number in perspective, during LeBron's 1st stint here, the Cavs allowed 20 60pt 1st halves total between '04-05 - '08-09.

Wrong Ratio:

*The Cavs finished with 17 turnovers to 15 assists. It's their 3rd time this season having more turnovers than assists (0-3).

*The last season in which they had more games with more TO than assists was 2011-'12.

*The Clevelanders finished with 29 FTA and 27 3ptA. It's the 25th time they have attempted more FT than 3pt in a game this season. They are now 7-18 in those games.

BrUn-Believable:

*LeBron finished with 30p, 17r, 6a, 1s, 1b on 50% shooting (11-22) in 38 Minutes

*He's the 5th player to put up 30/17/6/1/1/50% in less than 40 minutes (Shaq x3, Barkley, Malone, MJ). Barkley was the only other player to hit a 3 while putting up these numbers

The House that Bron Built:

*LeBron in his last 11 home games:

26.1p, 9.5r, 9.7a, .637 FG, .375 3pt

MoFlo, has there ever been less minutes played by a player in Cavs history (if he never plays again)?

Nope. Bogut would hold the record.

Larry Robinson is closest, having played 1:27 in his only game as a Cavalier in 2001.

Sorry for the lull, had a death in the family.

(Dedicated to the memory of my step-father, a great man who would ask me literally every night [every week in the Browns case] if the Cavaliers/Indians/Browns played)

3/14 vs Detroit

1st things 1st:

*The Cavaliers put up a 44 spot in the 1st quarter, the 6th time they've done that in franchise history (6-0) and the 2nd time they've done it against Detroit.

*All 6 of those games have been at home.

Half and Half:

*The Clevelanders allowed 48 points in the 1st half tonight, snapping a streak of 6 straight games where they hadn't allowed less than 50 points in the 1st half

3/4:

*The Cavs 104 points after 3 quarters would've been their 4th highest scoring game in their previous 9 games before tonight

*Those 104 points through 3 quarters is the 11th time in franchise history (11-0). Three of those 11 games have been this season.

*Before this season, the last time they scored 104+ through 3 was in 1992.

*The Cavaliers allowed 70 points through 3 quarters. It was the first time they allowed 70 or less through 3 quarters since 2/4

Full Throttle:

*Tonight marked the 42nd time in franchise history the Cavs put up 128+ points in a non-OT game (41-1).

*It's the 7th time this season they've put up 128+ in a non-OT game.

*They had accomplished that feat 8 times total over the previous 26 seasons combined.

Triple Threat:

*The Cavs went 19-30 from deep tonight. It's the 5th time this has been accomplished in NBA history (Ind '15-16; LAL '13-14; SAS '12-13; ATL '96-97)

Dirty Dozen:

*The Cavaliers drilled 19 triples and hit 17 FT's tonight. They are now 35-5 this season when making 12 of each in a game.

1st Time for Everything:

*Deron Williams is the 1st player to put up 13/2/3 on 100% shooting with more than 6 FGA in 13 or less minutes.

*LeBron is the 1st player in NBA history to put up 16/11/12 in 28 or less Minutes

Rare Breed:

*Kyrie joins Lou Williams, Scottie Pippen, and Chauncey Billups as the only players in NBA history with 26+ points; 6+ assists; 14 or less FGA; 4 3ptM (with 100% 3pt%)

Road Trippin':

*Channing Frye in his past 7 games: .636 FG; .581 3pt

*RJ's last 11 games: .574 FG; .500 3pt

*For the 2nd straight game, RJ put up 16 points. It was the first time since 4/10/15 & 4/12/15 that RJ put up back to back games with 15+ points

D-Wills:

*Deron Williams now has 33 Assists to just 5 Turnovers as a Cavalier.

*Derrick Williams hit 3 triples tonight and now has 18 as a Cavalier. He had hit 19 treys in his previous 33 games, dating back to last season.

The House that Bron Built:

LeBron in his last 12 home games:

25.3p; 9.7r; 9.9a; .628 FG

3/16 vs Utah

(Dedicated to Stone Cold day - hope you all drank your beer & stunned someone today)

Good Start:

*The Cavs held Utah to 20 1st quarter points tonight, just the 2nd time since 1/13 they've held an opponent to 20 or fewer 1st quarter points

Half and Half:

*The Cavaliers allowed 42 points in the 1st half tonight, the lowest 1st half point total they've allowed since 1/19 vs Phx

*The Cavs scored just 44 points in the 1st half, their lowest 1st half total since 1/11, at Portland.

*The Clevelanders have improved to 3-9 this season when scoring less than 50 in the 1st half of a game.

Closing Time:

*The Cavaliers held Utah to 16 points in the 4th quarter tonight, the lowest point total they've held an opponent to in any single quarter since 2/14 at Minnesota

*It's the 9th time they've held an opponent to 16 or fewer points in a quarter this season (8-1 in those games)

Magic Number:

*The Cavs held Utah to 83 points tonight. After holding Detroit to 96 on Tuesday night, it's the first time the Cavs have held back to back opponents to under 100 points since 12/13-12/14 in a home n home with Memphis

*The Cavaliers have now won 24 of their last 25 games in which they've held their opponents to under 100 points in regulation.

*Cleveland has not lost a home game in which they've held an opponent to under 100 points in regulation since 1/23/16, now having won 24 straight such home games

Ky-ridiculous:

3/20/17 @ Lakers

2nd Half Surge:

*The Cavaliers put up a 70 point 2nd half, the 3rd time they've done so this season.

*Before this season, the last time the Cavs accomplished this feat was in March 2007.

*Also prior to this season, the Cavs put up a 70 point 2nd half 3 times total in the previous 18 seasons

4th Quarter Fire:

*The Clevelanders scored 43 points in the 4th quarter, the 18th time they've scored 43+ points in a quarter in franchise history.

*9 of those 18 times have come since 2007-2008. The other 9 all came from between 1970-1993.

Hell of a Half:

*Kevin Love put up 21/15 in just over a half of basketball (25 minutes), the 13th time (10th different player) in NBA history someone has put up 20/15 in 25 or less minutes.

*Love also drilled 3 triples in the game, the 78th time he's put up 20/15 with at least 1 3ptM in his career. Only Charles Barkley has more such games (79).

*In regards to games with 20/15 with more than 1 triple, Love now has 58 such games, most in NBA history (Barkley #2 at 24)

*It's Love's 8th 20/15 game of the season, tied for most in a single season in franchise history (Brad Daugherty, Cliff Robinson)

*Overall, Love has 13 20/15 games as a Cav. Only Z & Daugherty have more (14 & 26 respectively)

Ky-ri-damn-diculous:

*Kyrie went for 46 points on just 21 FGA and 10 FTA, the 3rd player to ever score 45 points in such a way (Klay Thompson, Manu Ginobili)

*It's the 2nd time in Cavs history a player has scored 45+ points on 21 or fewer FGA (LeBron in '09)

*Kyrie also hit 6 triples, making it his 4th career game of 45+ points and 5+ triples. Only LeBron & Tracy McGrady had more such games at 24 years old.

*Kyrie's last 16 games:

3/24 @ Charlotte

Slightly Better:

*The Cavaliers allowed 105 points tonight, the lowest point total they've allowed since 3/16 vs Utah

*It's the fewest amount of points the Cavs have allowed on the road since 3/11 in Orlando, breaking a streak of 4 straight games in which they allowed more

*The Cavs are now 27-7 when they allow 105 or fewer points in regulation.

*Breaking down that 27-7 record: It's 8-6 on the road, 19-1 at home

Century Mark:

*The Cavs have improved to 44-10 when scoring 100 points in regulation

*That breaks down to: 18-7 on the road, 26-3 at home

Big 3:

*The Cavaliers have now improved to 32-12 when all members of the Big 3 play in a game this season.

*The break down: 11-9 vs West, 21-3 vs East; 13-8 on the road, 19-4 at home

King's Court:

*LeBron put up 32p/9r/11a/2b/1s, the 18th time a player has put up at least those numbers. LeBron now is responsible for 7 of those 18 games

*Having trouble with basketball-reference. Will add more as soon as I can*

3/31 vs Philly

Puttin' up the Points:

*The Cavaliers had 3 quarters in which they scored 32+ points

*It's the 6th game this season the Cavs have had 3+ quarters of 32+ points.

*If you go back to the 6 previous games in which they've accomplished that, it would take you back to April 12, 1997.

On Pace for the Century Mark:

*The Cavs have improved to 45-11 (27-4 at home) when they score 100+ points

*They also improved to 45-16 when scoring 50+ in the 1st half, 43-15 when scoring 25+ in the 1st quarter, and 43-12 when scoring 75+ through 3 quarters.

3rd Quarter:

*The Cavs' 34 3rd quarter points was their most in the 3rd quarter since 2/8

Love Lockdown:

*Love put up 18/10/3 with 3 steals. It's the 4th time he's put up at least those numbers this season. That's tied with Shawn Kemp for most such games in a single season in Cavalier history.

*Only LeBron has had more such games in a single season. He's done it 5 times in a single season on 4 separate occasions.

*It was Love's 108th double-double as a Cavalier. He broke a tie with Tyrone Hill and is alone in 6th in franchise history

One in a Million:

*LeBron put up 34/9/6 on 22 FGA, the 11th time in his career he's put up those numbers (or better).

*That's most in NBA history, breaking his tie with Barkley

Records:

*The Cavs have improved to 35-15 when TT records at least 1 Block

*When Love records a double-double, the Cavaliers are now 27-8 (10-9 when Love plays and doesn't record a double-double)

*The Cavaliers are now 31-8 (including 4-1 in a struggling March) when Kyrie dishes out 5+ assists

*When LeBron dishes out 10+ assists, the Cavs have now improved to 21-5 (including 3-1 in March)
