I thought their was going to be a salary cap fo rthe rookies, nothing came about after the new CBA. There is still plenty of time to get something done before the draft starts though, I hate how top picks hold out.

Amen...I can't stand it fighting for dollars that they haven't earned. College gets you drafted you earn contracts.

So if the Browns had around 10 million left before they signed Mcginest and Hallen then their should be roughly 5 million left. This of course is if Hallen got a million a year contract.

I dont think we have to have 5 million in cap space for the rookie class, if that was the case some of the teams wouldnt have a chance.

idk how the redskins spend 50 million per offseason cut scrubs and stay under the cap, i'd pay to get an investigation done...

We saved half a million by cutting Fisk and all of our contracts we've signed are backloaded.

So if espn said lecharles deal is 6 years 36 mill and it averages to 6 a year he is really only making 4.5 or 5 this season. Same with the rest of our guys we signed.

We have about $5-7 mill from what I've seen from a couple other board.
