But regarding Westbrook — the first time I’ve watched the Lakers for a while and I’m noticing that Westbrook has a fatigue/energy problem. He’ll attack the basket two times in a row and then he’s huffing and puffing and jogging slowly down the court. A lot of standing around on defense. In his best seasons he had the energy to be absolutely relentless in pressuring the opposing defense. He’s a long way from that now. I think a player like him, an energy guy, has a lot of trouble with aging

Nobody has been close to LeBron in terms of excellence over such a long period of time. He hit three threes in a row from deep in the 4th. Still a tremendous player in his 20th season. Can’t do that every night at his age but it’s probable he put in extra effort for Sat Nite ABC against the Warriors, who aren’t playing well of late.
