That last line is probably the main reason we haven't seen him much this year. Other than being undrafted and stuck behind Parker and Gibson.
I'd assume that a player with his genes, maybe he caught on and has been working hard in practice and his free time to work on his overall shooting and shot selection.
I would also like to see what his handles are like. The one time I saw him bring up the ball he seemed to be in control and not looking to press. One could assume that with more time and a bigger role he might fall into the trap of pressing if he has the ball in his hands too much.
It's one game so we shouldn't get too excited. That being said he played well and looked like he belonged. I had been wondering why he's still even on the roster but he at least showed there might be something there.
It would be quite a turnaround if he becomes a reliable perimeter shooter after being such a poor shooter at Pepperdine.
