NBA 2K15

Yeah I'm going through domination first as well. Between the dom packs and regular packs, I can't pull a Small Forward to save my life, let alone a top tier one. Really all I need..
 
Do you still have to play domination with all bronze players to get 3 stars or can you use whoever you want?
 
Just curious as to what your guys strategies are for MyTeam? I guess I can tell you mine.

I have been mostly getting crappy players from Domination and the VIP packs, so my new strategy is to get like 4,000 or so in MT points (about the cost of a VIP pack), and then spend that in the auction house on silver players and try to get like 2 or 3 players with it. I figure it is better to get 2 or 3 silver players of my choice over spending 4,000+ on a VIP pack and ending up with a crappy player.

Only problem is that it is really hard to get Gold players with that strategy because they are worth so much in the auction house. Also part of my new strategy is to collect as many cards as possible regardless of value.

Because in 2k14 I wouldn't keep any cards I didn't like and would sell them all. Then try to acrue that money and buy more packs until I got someone that I liked. So I'm going to try out this new way and see how it goes.
 
My lone gold card was John Wall and literally the first game I played with him in the 7th seed, he broke his kneecap or something stupid and is out 16 games and I have no way to heal him.

I really hate the contract aspect of MyTeam. I understand it, but it is really hard to keep up with all of your players. Wish they wouldn't use contracts in Domination.
 
Packs all day.

My lineup is really good, just need a SF. And I dont feel like saving up to buy one from the AH.

I really hope legends are in packs soon. I wanna put together my early 2000s squad of Iverson/Carter/McGrady/Garnett/Shaq

What is your line up? And who have you got from the packs and what packs? I've got Demarcus Cousins from a VIP pack and thats it. I got Bosh from Domination. I got Lowry from a pre order pack. Those are all the gold people I have. Cousins sucks too. I just got Bosh so the jury is out on that one. Only got to play with Lowry for one game before he got hurt and I havent got to use him since :chuckle:

Thats funny because I was (still sort of am) feeling that struggle about injury cards. I had some injury cards, but of course none of the injury I needed. Lowry and Stauskas were both lighting it up for me from three in the same game, I mean I was on a tear. The computer said "I'll have enough of that" and then Lowry goes down with an ankle injury shooting a three. Like a play or two later, same thing happens to Stauskas. Both out 12 games. I think I've finally played enough games to bring them back.

McGee has some sort of injury and Cousins just got hurt so I'm with out them. Cousins didn't do crap for me anyway so I'll just leave him off the lineup. Ironically, I play Varejao every minute of every game I play and he hasn't got hurt yet :D

I haven't gotten jack shit from domination packs. And I'm over halfway done.
I only buy the VIP packs...

Starters
Lillard/Curry/rookie KD/Davis/Drummond

Bench
Kyrie/Ibaka/Varejao

I'm currently using that 8 man rotation. I got Lillard, Curry, Davis, Drummond from VIP packs. The rest I bought on the AH.

I was thinking about buying Cousins as a backup C as I heard he's pretty good...what don't you like about him?

I hope I pull LeBron, Melo, George, or Durant in a dom pack because I cannot pull a SF for my life in a VIP pack. I'm set at every other position.

Sidenote: I really wish Kyrie was better in this game. Lillard and Curry are both so much better it's not even funny, I'm forced to start them. If Kyrie would just make his open threes...hopefully when 2K updates ratings they will do it in MyTeam as well. Kyrie's standing three is bullshit.

Dude I'm so pissed that everyone has so much better teams than me. My friend has a stacked team too. Anyway, I don't like Cousins because he is slow and sucks at D, and I like to play up tempo. Also, another big reason is that he cant finish dunks that well because his vertical is so small. There have been so many times where I see a huge lane to the hoop, and I take off with Cousins to go dunk and he misses if its even semi contested because he can barely jump. As a backup, I guess he would be okay but I prefer a defensive approach in the paint because my guards do all of my scoring.

My line up is Jeff Teague, Mclemore, rookie KD, Bosh, Varejao. With Exum, Batum, Parsons, Mike Miller, Ryan Anderson, Vonleh on the bench. I bought Teague, Mclemore, Miller, Vonleh, Elfrid Payton, and Exum. And I just bought Aaron Gordon. Lowry, Cousins, Stauskas, and McGee aren't in the line up anymore but I think I might put Lowry in. Teague has been tearing it up so much for me though.
 
Cavs court is updated in the new patch. Hope they are somehow able to add in the new jumbotron as well.

Yikes.

Yeah I can't complain much, I've had some good luck with the VIP packs. I just want a SF so my team will essentially be complete. From there I can just go after players I really like.
