NBA Draft Buyers and Sellers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Diogu did have more production that May in college. Diogu also has shown to have a more well rounded game in workouts.
May is a solid prospect but he does have some past injury problems.

I also think getting a PF is secondary to improving the backcourt. That has to be the Cavs priority.

say the Cavaliers do get back in the draft in a postion where they could draft Felton who is currently projected at number 13 on NBADraft.net , so i would guess they would land in the 10-15 range. i realize that PG is a need for this team but i would have a hard time passing on guys like Frye, Villenueva, and Taft. you could set up a nice front line for the future with 1 of those guys plus Lebron and AV. this would also allow you to trade Gooden for a PG or shooter.

Felton will go top 5-7. Lots of lottery teams need a point guard unfortunately. I don't expect any of the top 3 points to fall. Paul, williams, and felton are guaranteed top 10. No way they fall.

I do expect us to move gooden before the season starts.

If we can get somewhere in the teens then I think Jarrett Jack would be a great pickup. Good defender and had an absolutely terrific run two years ago. He was slowed by injuries this years so his stock dropped a bit plus all of GT's injuries hurt their team performance. But in matchups he owned Felton and was basically even with Paul.

he could be a real steal especially since he'll have time to learn the game behind Snow

It does look like if the Cavs can get a pick than Jack is a realistic option. I do think he could become a solid PG, maybe a Chauncey Billups type if he develops. He should be available mid 1st round and maybe until around 20.

I'd love to get Felton but I can't see it happening. He'll go no later than 10 and probably before that. I can't see a trade where the Cavs could get that high to draft him. No team in the 5-10 range needs Gooden even if he was packaged with Sasha.

Former Michigan State star Sam Vincent is a Cavs consultant. Vincent, owner of a basketball team in South Africa, has an expertise in African basketball players. He is assisting the Cavs in their scouting at the predraft camp.

Ugh, please no more Desagana Diop's.
