Observations

Rasheed started a lot of fights yet never really got too involved in the brawls that he insinuated.

Shawn Bradley is obviously a passivist..the guy got put into a chokehold of sorts, jacked by Olajuwon and slammed by Mark Smith :chuckles:

Why would anyone get involved in a scuffle with someone on Shaquille O'Neals team

After being tossed around in melee after melee wouldn't Jeff Van Gundy just step back and let it ride out?

What have we learned here? Don't try restraining a player on another team..that results in their teammates restraining you from him and your teammates restraining them from you.

And before you know it everyones suspended and jaw jacked :chuckles:

OMG good stuff. The funniest thing was watching that coward Ferry actually running from the "imposing" Marcus Camby. I guess it's safe to say that Marcus will NEVER be a Cav under Danny's watch. Had Camby connected and succeeded in giving Ferry brain damage, perhaps he would have been smart enough not to sign Damon Jones for 16mil over 4years. :chuckles:

Barkley v Shaq....would have been nice to see that one last uninterrupted for about 20 secs or so. Chuck did the right thing...take the big fella off of his feet.

Larry Bird :chuckles: ...depositing some nuisance into the baseline seats with just a flick of the hip.


All in all, the League has done a fine job in adjusting the rules to curtail some of the violence. Back in the day, a fight would start at the drop of a hat. Nowadays, considering how big, strong, and athletic most NBA players are now, someone is bound to get seriously hurt if they happened to get cold cocked.

If you think Danny Fortson is "tough"...guys like Maurice Lucas would have clipped his wings within his first week in the league. Even modern day tough guy Charles Oakley probably would have beat the crap out of him.

You know, you have to wonder how good of fighters the Bucks are. They are division rivals after, so it would probably be a good idea to figure out if we could take them in a brawl before the preseason starts.

And I'm all for someone taking out Sheed this year. Look at what a puss he is, always starting $hit then running away. He waits for his teammates to grab him and then pretends like he wants to fight through them. He is a first class a-hole.
