-- ## -- NOTES -- ## --

* Playoff fever..... Upsets. Should have wons. Must-wins. Rest? Never. Throw all regret out the window, all the bad losses and all the nailbiters. There are 4 games left in the regular season, and we shall take them one by one.

* The picture: With a Cavalier loss grouped with the Piston's win, and Bulls' loss to Toronto... Detroit all but runs away with the #1 seed, while the Bulls and Cavs are left fighting over the 2nd and 5th seeds. New Jersey, on the other side of the bracket, are fighting for their playoff life, clinging onto the 7th ahead (as of 4/9/2007) of Orlando (35), Indiana (34), New York (32) and Philly (31). With 6 games left, every game & win counts.

-: lyXo's Keys to the Game :-

* We need answers... yes. Answers for Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, who both had triple doubles on Sunday.. even for Richard Jefferson. But before we find answers, we should ask some questions of our own. Who can guard Ilguaskas? Nobody on the Nets. Who will stop LeBron? Three Nets... leaving 2 guys wide open. The bottom line: Take all of our advantages and slam them down before the other team has a chance to breath.

* Harness the anger. Bottle up the frustration. You lost the game to Detroit, yes, but it is one game, and one seed. You have four games left to redeem yourself and plunge full force into the playoffs. This is your spotlight game on national television, and arguably your most important game of the season. Here's to LeBron dropping 50 points on the limping Nets.

* Four days off means four days of preparation. We better be rested, prepared, and ready to demolish NJ, a potential first round opponent. Be prepared to make Vince Carter settle for jumpers, ready to swarm Jason Kidd so he can't operate.

* No more Donyell. Even though he matches up perfectly with Clifford Robinson... NO MORE DONYELL. He does nothing but hurt the team, and he has lost any type of "game" that he might have had earlier in his career. Say NO to Hot Donny, because he and his ungodly large posterior have no business on the court jacking up worthless 3's that don't hit the rim.

* Use the energy of the crowd... it's going to be sold out, it's going to be wild, and everyone's itching for a win. Don't disappoint them.

Cavaliers win a close one, 106-103

Both teams with much to play for. Cavs still have the 2nd seed to strive for, whilst the Nets are looking to stomp past the Wizards. Danger game.

Kidd and Carter are in form and are capable of anything. Jefferson has had his way on us many a time. Mikki Moore is one of those players who you think are shit but manage to put 14-10 on us.

The Nets bigs are foul prone. Get the ball inside early and often.

They will get it to Z early and then forget about the often part as usual.

They've been following that script all season long... why change it now with 4 games to play and the #2 seed still a possibility? :chuckles: Do you think lightbulbs would go on over Mike Brown's head if he were to ever stumble upon realcavsfans.com?

Agreed 100 percent. Stop Kidd from running the floor nonstop, and pound the glass.

You can throw the Nets record out of the window for this game.

This is who we would be matched up against if we had the 2 seed. New Jersey is healthy and will be a handful.

This is the last regular season game I am going to attend and if we cant get up for this game, I will turn my attention to Grady Sizemore, and the NFL draft.

It's hard winnable game, but it's very important for us..

Injury Report:

Eddie House (partial tear-left hip), Nenad Krstic (torn ACL, left knee), Mile Ilic (sprained left ankle) and Bernard Robinson (strep throat) are all out.

Wait..did Larry Hughes just make that layup? No..

He did..

Outstanding full court pass to LeBron for the quarter-ending dunk!

Sasha can dribble a ball off his leg better than anyone I've ever seen.. Cavs are as sharp as cotton..

What's with LeBron's jumpshot? He's barely even jumping... Aside from that, he's seems like he's barely interested, which shouldn't be surprising...

That first half was a completely ugly display of basketball. Cavs games are becoming painful to watch for anyone who truly appreciates the game.

4 days off and the Cavs come out looking like this? Luckily the Nets have played even worse.

These teams are so efficient!
