New music thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I met the lead of Against Me! years ago, must have been 2002. Sweetest kindest guy, then totally in character on stage.

I hope this thread picks up, because since the death of the record industry it's been really hard to find good new bands without a lot of research.

I'm a proponent of Chill Wave these days. Toro y Moi and Washed Out are really good.
The Deli - Spacetime
Emapea - Zoning Out 2
Mister T - Synchronized Roots

Lofi/Chillwave stuff you may be interested in

Minor Threat - anything
Bad Religion- Suffer
NOFX - So Long and Thanks for all the shoes
Bad Brains -anything early

I gotta run but I’ll give you more when I have time.
I’ll check out suffer. I have Empire Strikes First being delivered tomorrow.

I’ll check out the others recommended as well.

Otoboke Beaver has been melting my brain lately.

@FiveThous - give it a listen if you are still looking for "punk" to check out.

If you like the 90's punk, definitely give Face to Face a listen if you haven't already..

That’s a great album too! A few more:

Propagandhi - Today’s Empires, Tomorrow’s Ashes
Suicidal Tendencies - institutionalized
Rancid - self titled from 2008
At the Drive-in - Relationship of Command
Subhumans - Religious Wars
Any of the late-90’s to early 2000’s Punkorama compilations

I don’t even listen to country music, but heart like a truck my current favorite song

I just randomly discovered this album while listening to 90s hip hop and it is…amazing.

Whole album is great.

Anyone looking for some dance/groove pop stuff should check out Sinkane. Went to Kent State and lived in Columbus for a bit. Rad guy..

Finally got around to listening to that new Circa Waves album, quite enjoyed this song the most...

I am a sucker for orchestral/symphonic metal, bonus points for female singers. Classic example is Nightwish. Generally comes from Scandinavia. For a more mainstream example think Metallica S&M.

Anyways came across this. This is like aural crack cocaine to me blasting at 10 at night in my basement gym.

Not for everyone but...

It can be difficult because this type of music is right on the border of screamo viking dragon shit but sometimes Pandora f'in HITS

Curious, do you like any of the Babymetal stuff?
