New uniform in the works.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
A plain white helmet? So Penn State basically?

Jesus Christ. Only the Browns could make the worst uniforms in the league even worse.

I just want the orange helmet. That's literally our logo. I don't even care about any other aspect of the uniform.

We could change the brown to gray, to carbon. I don't care. Could be all white below. All black. Just for the love of all things holy, keep that helmet shell orange.

Report: Cleveland Browns in process of re-designing uniforms

Due to NFL uniform rules, the earliest Cleveland can debut a new look is 2020, as teams are required to wear any uniform iteration for at least five years.

This is from last year..

"Haslam admitted there is a problem with the fabric and the tightness of the jerseys that make them uncomfortable for the players. She said the Browns internally have talked about a new uniform look. “We’ve talked about it, but we haven’t conceptualized what that might be, and we have to work with the NFL on it,” Haslam said. “We’re the Cleveland Browns. We stand for a certain thing. I can’t imagine doing anything too crazy, can you? I can’t.” A source has said that the Browns are seriously looking at replacing the plain orange helmet with a plain white one. The Browns wore white helmets from their inception in 1946 through the 1950 season."

Plain white helmets?

Why not just go back to the leather helmet if that is or motivation.

So wish Jimmy would just sell the team.

Daryl Ruiter had this weeks ago.

Also, put me down as someone who wouldn't mind white helmets.

I always thought keeping the stripe on the helmet idea but just changing it up a bit would be cool. Our helmets just look so dumb from the front as is. Something like this would be sleeker imo

It could be interesting, but as darkness stated, IT IS OUR DAMN LOGO.

Are we going to change our logo now? Or is our actual, 100% logo, going to be an alternate helmet now?

These from A Squared a while back.

Literally the only part of the uniform I don’t want fucked with is the helmet (ok with subtleties like shade of orange or stripe thickness; even fine with facemask color change, tho i like brown)

Haslam supposedly gave an oath to Lerner that he would never place a logo on the helmets (thank goodness). I guess a color change was never part of that promise. That stinks.

All I'd like to see are numbers on the helmets, ala 1957-1960. I'd also think they try to use the helmet as an alternate, but who knows.

Unless it's in pen & signed, an oath to Lerner doesn't mean much. Not to jump on you, but I don't think Jimmy is going to think about what he told Lerner.

Changing the uniforms gave everyone much more appreciation for how classic our old jerseys were.

Time to go back. Just in time for the first Super Bowl in team history.

Perhaps. It was a pretty well covered declaration. But, yes, jimmy could be a slime ball about it. He also promised to never move the team...

I'd still like some grey involved somewhere. But yeah Browns are very original and should've stuck with it. The franchise has been so horrible that a shake up needed to be done to install positive energy. But it's just another failure. Just like the huge logo change.
