I wish they will show the Bengals-Panthers game - That game sounds like a TD fest!
What is really kind of mind boggling is the fact that Hoyer didn't play a great game but he certainly played a good game and wasn't bad in any aspect whatsoever. You could pick on him for a few weird back tosses to his backs but you could also point the finger at his backs for not holding onto the ball.
He also threw at least 4 catch-able balls for major yards that were dropped due to hits thrown on the receivers where you really couldn't blame either the receiver or Hoyer because the ball was thrown at the best possible receiver and the receiver was hit at the best possible time.
Hoyer's poise is what separates him from the rest of the league. He's not in the business of being rattled and he might just be the best at it, thus far, in this league.
It's about time he be recognized for his accomplishments thus far.

I mean, Hoyer played a good game, I suppose...but not stats wise, really.
No turnovers is probably the best thing he did all day. Turnovers are what have killed Browns QBs forever now.
Yep.
I in no way was trying to diminish him because I am firmly entrenched in Camp Hoyer at this point
I just knew if I said "Hoyer had a great game!" somebody would be like 'Buh buh his stats werent very good!"

Congrats all. I'm gonna be a man and take all the shit you can dish. They played well. Hoyer is legit. My dad, who was born and raised in Pittsburgh, told me before the game he thinks we were gonna lose. Hoyer looks like the best QB we've played this season.
Your schedule looks favorable upcoming. Get excited Cleveland, the city, the teams, and the whole northeast Ohio area, is on the rise.
Hoyer completed less than 50% of his throws, and really only got 8 completions, but he was huge on the long ball. There were two drops forced by Steelers defenders, and there were a couple smart throwaways to avoid sacks. Most importantly, no interceptions. So I dont think its a bad game stats wise, just he didnt rack up that much as all his stats were essentially over 2 quarters.
Sure just quote me so I get an alert. This not true. Ill get ya some stats later
