I read that he has been one of Gilbert's advisors for the last five years and is an expert on the European game. He wrote a scouting report in 2003 (before the draft) for all the European players and trashed Darko's game. This guy knows what he is talking about.

The only thing I could find on eBay of Darko's was a game worn jock and a sweaty sock (the sock is in a plastic zip lock bag, so you can see the condensation). THey came with a certificate and a picture of him wearing the stuff in a game (you can't really see the jock, but it's stamed as authentic). Needless to say, I don't think I'll be able to move either of those items.

Holy crap, my uncle Simi Pavlovic is from Croatia and is a HUGE Darko fan. He would pay top dollar for both items, especially if they are still damp and really used in a game. Can you post a pic of them so I can show Uncle Simi???

Nicko McFerence is the new European scout for the Cavaliers...
And don't listen to the trash on Real Sports on HBO last night. Uncle Simi is a kind, gentle Croatian man. He will crush American TV anchorman Bryant Gumbel with his bare hands when he is angry. And he said he would like to make an offer on Darko's damp sock and jock.

Never have heard of or read anything about this guy. There was a story earlier this month on the Cavs website about Chico Averbuck who is now the Cavs head of international scouting.
If this McFerence guy has a Pistons connection than that's good. They've been one of the best in the league in international scouting and finding out about all international players. Along with Ferry's (if he comes here) Spurs connections and their ability to judge international talent, the Cavs should be in good shape in this area.
