I mean, they didn’t.
From what it sounds like you’re right. Just didn’t seem like the right forum to handle it in coming from our captain and face of the franchise. As if we don’t have enough drama already. Should have been kept as an internal matter.

Only positive spin I can try to put on it is that Baker is showing Odell he has his back.

If he had suffered a hernia during training camp or preseason, they should have rushed him into surgery and would have had him ready for full contact in 3-4 weeks; arguably in time for week 2, if not earlier...

This is an extremely common injury and doesn’t require a medical degree to come to a common sense conclusion.

LOL.

Aaaaand we lost that trade badly.
You are just one of the drama-filled antiOBJ people or something like that.

How folks shove their heads up their rectum to all the innuendo with this guy astounds me.

Certainly reporters always get it right.
Not saying they do, but in this case I believe this Jay Glazer report is 100% correct. OBJ was just asked about it now in his postgame conference and he refused to comment. Not a denial or saying the report wasn’t true, but a no comment and a “we’ll deal with offseason stuff after the season”

And that’s what Baker said in the press conference. Said if it was addressed when it should have been he would have missed 2 or maybe 1 game.

I think he'll be traded this off season...for whatever reason...the question is what can the Browns actually get in return?

He's still a first round talent locked into a contract for several more years. Either hang onto him or demand, at minimum, a first rounder and another pick.

Anything less than that (if they DO try to trade him, which I have my doubts) and you can call the trade a complete failure. Jury's still out. Peppers and Zeitler haven't exactly been lighting the world on fire in New York, either.

If he is 100% out of here I call Washington and see if we can get Snyder to trip over his dick as usual or call ATL and add a pick swap.

Not trading him.

From they start of the off-season this team has done everything wrong, including not addressing OBJ's injury that also didn't allow him to integrate with the team.

You don't trade a talent like that without having got a full season out of him under proper conditions.

Considering the draft history of this team, they will never sniff the talent level of OBJ.

You give it a proper shot, doing it right, and if it doesn't work out then, trade him.
