Well that's lovely and extremely embarrassing.Baker pretty much through the Browns under the bus in his press conference over the handling of the OBJ injury.
From what it sounds like you’re right. Just didn’t seem like the right forum to handle it in coming from our captain and face of the franchise. As if we don’t have enough drama already. Should have been kept as an internal matter.I mean, they didn’t.
You are just one of the drama-filled antiOBJ people or something like that.LOL.
Aaaaand we lost that trade badly.
Not saying they do, but in this case I believe this Jay Glazer report is 100% correct. OBJ was just asked about it now in his postgame conference and he refused to comment. Not a denial or saying the report wasn’t true, but a no comment and a “we’ll deal with offseason stuff after the season”Certainly reporters always get it right.
And that’s what Baker said in the press conference. Said if it was addressed when it should have been he would have missed 2 or maybe 1 game.If he had suffered a hernia during training camp or preseason, they should have rushed him into surgery and would have had him ready for full contact in 3-4 weeks; arguably in time for week 2, if not earlier...
This is an extremely common injury and doesn’t require a medical degree to come to a common sense conclusion.
I think he'll be traded this off season...for whatever reason...the question is what can the Browns actually get in return?
