OSU Recruiting Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What the hell? Turrentine just committed not even what, two months ago? I can’t perceive timeframes anymore

It brings up an interesting point. Wonder how many decommits we see in the next however many months.

I would break it down like this:

QB - done; I think they’re comfortable with Stroud, Miller and McCord as their three in 2021 and will pursue two guys in the 2022 class

RB - done

WR - 1 or 2 more; this comes down to Egbuka, Stellato and/or Christian Leary.

TE - 1 more; Hudson Wolfe is the prime target, Jack Pugh could be in play if Wolfe falls through

OL - 2 or 3 more; Latham and Burton are the two they’re chasing hardest. Could see them taking a third guy, like Rocco Spindler, if it’s the right guy.

DL - 2 or 3 more; Tuimoloau and Tyrone Malone are the big names; they’ll aim for a second true rush end as well.

LB - maybe 1; they’ll go big game hunting (Barrett Carter, Raesjon Davis) but be content to pursue more guys in 2022 if that doesn’t come to fruition

DB - 3 or 4; Primary guys OSU will chase here are Jaylin Davies, Jantzen Dunn, Kamar Wilcoxson, Tony Grimes and Derrick Davis Jr.
That’s a minimum of 10 more guys. I think they room for maybe 7 more

Again, it’s all speculation. Probably was irresponsible for me to post that.

Nah, not at all. It’s just a casual forum, not like you’re claiming sources of your own or something. Who gives a f

The whole committing and decommitting thing really kills me (before they even play a down at the school). I get if you have to b/c of family or what not, or your dream school finally offered you after you already committed somewhere, but damn. Show loyalty.

I can’t find anything that says Turrentine decommitted

Dunn today at 2:30 Eastern (I think?)

Heard he was CB to OSU after being a sure thing for OU ..

That is correct.

He essentially committed to Oklahoma on Saturday night. OSU got in contact with him to say they still wanted him. He flipped that quickly lol.

Honestly, Ohio State probably could lose a few of these guys when all is said and done and still have a historic class. I think they are still in the running or even favored for several more of the top 10 NATIONALLY ranked dudes.

I don't usually follow recruiting like this but it's a fun distraction during these absurd times.
