I'm always fascinated by how law enforcement operates a sting like this. They have Kraft on tape 2 times, including the clean-up after, according to the police department.
So with that being said, they've got tape of many men paying/soliciting sex crimes, including from human trafficked women/girls.
At what point do they step in and stop the crimes? Women are being abused on tape, and they withhold stopping the sting, to collect more arrests, etc. But in the meantime, women continue to be sexually abused/exploited. How is that handled from a law enforcement perspective? I'm legitimately curious...
Also, there have been 173 additional arrest warrants served in similar sting in Indian River County. No list of names released yet. The Sheriff in Martin County (where Kraft was arrested) says he expects the current number of arrests (25) to quadruple in the coming weeks (so around 200 eventual arrests).
In both stings, none of the victims (sex worlers) were underage according to both police departments. Many trafficked women though. All Chinese, tricked into coming to United States for standard service jobs, and pressured/forced into sex labor.
